Really? This thread is 6 YEARS old.
I didn't have a problem with it at all. I just know that the MODS will remove them if they are too big and I wanted to be able to see the progress without clicking on ever picture.
Thank you for...
It's a shame that all of those pics are going to be removed and then just linked to.
From http://monster.traxxas.com/showthread.php?t=330456 :

What do you mean by this statement? Yes, it is digital and?
as soon as the filter starts to get dirty, the foam will be easier to collapse. so if you are running in pretty dusty conditions, i can see this happening.
do not do this!
this will lessen the effectiveness of the filter. if you want your engine to breath better, buy a different filter. HPI, MS, RB, Ect...
thats easy, buy a REVO. you will be happy having two trucks to work on and bash. it's always nice to have a spare truck for friends.
show me where in any major race that a T-maxx was in the...
in my opinion, i would stick with the stock a-arms. yes RPM are stronger, but i would rather replace an a-arm vs a bulkhead.
it is common to return when switching fuels.
what do you mean by the throttle trim doesn't work?
also, an OS 8 is a short plug. go get a long one.
what are you talking about? traxxas engines are warrentied for 2 years against manufacture defects reguardless of the fuel.
this should help. from Mrs. web site:
i don't know anything about that muffler, but if you want the noise level decreased, buy an E-maxx!!!
agreed. i can't say that the HPI one is the best, but i run em and haven't had any problems. i upgraded all my motor saver airfilters to those.
looks like it would work to me. the blue part mounts on the tranny or close to it and the pivot arm is located where the stock one is, but why not just use the stock linkage?
alum one? they are all aluminum.
i agree, upgrade what you break. But, running stock pro .15 shafts with a widemaxx kits makes those shafts weaker and now putting in a 3.3 you will surely kill those driveshafts.
sounds like they aren't going to mesh. the gears are to small. try 18 and 74.
with a 20 tooth CB, he would need an 83 tooth spur not a 70
it could be the one-way in the tranny slipping.
the tranny was only slightly beefed up towards the end of the pro .15 years. the reverse primary was enlarged and the whole primary gear assemble was updated.
take the servo saver off. set all the trims to neutral, set all the sub-trims to neutral and then replace the servo saver.
make sure mixing is not on. make sure the frame rate is set to normal....
what CB are you running? the choice of CB will make your shiftpoint change.
everything is different. look up the PDF files on the 3.3 tranny to see them.
and yes the 3.3 is tougher then the 2.5 tranny.
worst case i would get the 3.3 tranny before going all metal.
i have read on here, i think it was in the revo forum, that the "set" wording on the opitdrives are different colors for the different versions of them.
my revo has white lettering and my t-maxx...
they are the same mount.
have you tried turning the airfilter to the side 3OUTLAW?
