A computerized peak charger is what you want.
you have to put screws through them and through the mounting bar
I'd try soldering a new antenna before I scrap a 2.4ghz RX. Worst case scenario you ruin the RX and you're in the same boat you would be if you scrapped it.
Its heavier. I have both the stock traxxas wheelie bar and the slash rear bumper with wheels on it. If your truck is already sagging in the rear, the slash bumper may push it over the edge. ...
The 2.2 mashers actually look bigger than the stock talons. They arent as wide, but they're taller
I just went from the stock talons to Masher 2K's on RPM revolvers with a 2S lipo and VXL setup. The mashers are insanely grippy compared to the talons. The truck will wheelie on grass, dirt and...
If you're running too stiff springs, it will raise ride height. At the ideal spring rate, it will simply adjust static sag (the amount that the suspension sags when the car is set on the ground).
If you want to reduce static sag by moving the shocks, you should move them away from the chassis on the A-arm, towards the wheel. Moving them in towards the chassis makes for more sag.
How far you go out depends on if you're brushless or not. With my VXL system, I cant go more than 1/4 out, or it slips too much
As an update, its been almost 3 months with the camo tape body, and its still doing great. Its worn through on a couple of places on the roof, but other than that its in great shape!
Yeah, after 8-10 Titans, just do the trade-in and get the VXL setup for $130.
Its not even comparable to brushed, its so much better.
This was the waterproof VXL system.
Also, yeah, its a natural ramp, or I wouldnt be jumping so close to a river.
Yeah, I was surprised to see that the VXL motor had a bearing go out from this, but I'm glad I checked it, as a small amount of water did get in.
Better safe than sorry I guess, I'd rather buy a...
I was out bashing today at my usual spot, when I took a jump a little too hot. Behind the jump is about 20 or so feet of flat land, then it drops a good 15 feet straight down into a river.
2) Pro-Line Powerstroke Slash shocks
4) Slash rear bumper with RPM mount, and RPM front bumper
The VXL is waterproof, the titan with the exposed fan, and other motors with exposed brushes and whatnot will get eaten alive in mud.
If you're going to be talking mud and water, then you should...

The Kimbrough works great with a metal geared servo. I would imagine that it would totally tear up a plastic geared servo in short order.
I have taken some pretty big hits with my Stampede and...
Wel, if you want actual long run times and not just "nimh long runtimes" you'll need to look into lipos. Any specific reason you dont want them?
I find that it levels out nicely in the air on the brakes, and steering in the air with the stock tires will allow you to control the roll nicely. As for backflips? I dunno, havent tried them. It...
Post the link, I have to see that
I stripped only the top gear in my transmission yesterday, which is puzzling. When I pulled the transmission apart and cleaned it out, I noticed that the teflon washers that are listed in the VXL...
RC vehicles often look like they're going a lot faster than they really are. I'd bet your GPS is fine.
Is the light green or red when you have the ESC on? If you're on NIMH's you want it to be red, so the LVC is turned off.
