The SC10 body looks great. Do you have any more pics with it mounted. If it could sit just a little lower it would be perfect.
I called the HT in Cumming yesterday and they had nothing. They expected to receive them in January. :(
Thanks for the tip. They have them listed as INSTOCK on their web site so I ordered one. Hopefully they are open tomorrow and it ships out.:D
Thanks I will try and check it out sometime soon.
Is anyone planning a gtg in the Atlanta area soon?
Im in North GA (Dawsonville) the closest track I know of is the Sugar Bowl. Im not looking to race, just bash. I had the gate code but lost it:mad:
I used to own an E-maxx,...
I agree. After a few runs the pack will get a little better. Mine with the stock battery will pull wheelies on pavement. I have not touched my slipper yet.
Both the Tekin RS and R1 are about the same size. The RS may be a few mm wider because of the sensor port. The RS will do Sensored and Sensorless brushless. The R1 will only do Sensorless...
That would be great.
Yeah me to. I was using a 25C 1100mah rated for 27A continuous and 55A burst. Its temp is about 140F after running. So the more the better.
Good stuff. Did you get a chance to check out the data I sent you last week? I wonder how my data compares to yours? Your running a 23T and I was running a 28T.
The excel sheet is interesting. ...
Ah ok. I know the HT in Cumming has sold 2-3 of the Revo 1/16.
I want to check out the track in Loganville. I hear its nice.
BTW my temps have been in the 170-180 running both 2s and 3s...
Where in GA. Im in Dawsonville.
My opinion. A cooler motor runs more efficient. A more efficient motor should be less work for the ESC. Like I say that is only my opinion.
I do know that above 200F the motor magnets start to...
I think he said he tried that already and it was overloading the stock BEC causing the truck to shut down.
He could wire it to the ESC's battery plug but his fans are 6V fans so he will be limited...
Or get an external BEC like the CCBEC. It can be selected to output 6V and can handle as much as 10A. Im sure it would power your fans no problem.
And it works. I had forgotten about this thread.
I have been happy with my Duratrax heatsinc. It seems to work well.
My stock battery runs hotter than anything else. I have...
Yes but aren't you running some 5in tall 2.2 wheels and tires? I know re gearing will help but that is also a lot of extra weight to be hauling around.
I just got back from running mine. I ran...
Check out the TLT Maxx Climber body. Its an SUV and also 1/18 scale. It may be hard to find but worth a look
My Revo on both 2s and 3s lipo.
I was using the 28T stock pinion.
It was definitely killing the stock battery. It measured 170 after the first run:eek:
My Lipos measured about 130-140. A little high so I will probably go...
I agree. I have been running it since I got my Revo. It seems to work well.
Voltage and Amperage are measured on the left side of the graph and RPM is measured on the right.
All of the graphs are measured doing high speed runs on paved...
I did some testing with my data logger yesterday.
On 7.4 Lipo 50A bursts are very common. Highest I recorded was just over 70A.
I have some graphs I will try and edit and post soon
