I see exactly what is being said here. I love traxxas stuff, but with the release of the x-maxx I'm not liking the proprietary steering servo. Will others make a steering servo that fits? Maybe. ...
I've seen posts over time asking for a 1/5th scale revo, or maxx type truck. I would love to see that, but I think if they build anything 1/5th scale it would be more of a short course truck. I'd be...

Thank you for that ultra quick link humayrayakongkinaon . I searched around a bit before posting, but you found a much better thread than I did. Look like I'm not running that body. My stock front...
That "small piece of metal" you found in the motor, could have goobered it up. Sounds like something that traxxas would help you out on. I'd give them a call.
I'm thinking of grabbing this body for my slash, but not for speed runs. I wanna run it at the local indoor offroad track. If I'm using a regular S/C wheel setup, will I get a bunch of wheel rub? ...
I too have been awaiting a 1/5th scale REVO, or E-MAXX. I would be all over it whether it was gas, OR electric. I think traxxas is going to be coming out with something 1/5th scale electric soon,...
WOW, this has been up a whole week, and NO replies???? At least pop in here to tell me this is never gonna happen. LOL
ANY slash should do what you are looking for.
Just tossing up a post about wanting a 1/5th scale gas powered monster truck 4x4. It can be based off either the Maxx series of trucks, or based on the Revo. If you build it, please use a shaft...
Also, running without the body makes it easier to damage stuff in a crash... like the ESC, batts, and the wiring in general.
I know a site that rhymes with eday that will tell us the value... very shortly, I imagine. LOL
Yep, I linked to the wrong ESC. It is indeed still a 1/8 MMM.
lots of "possibilities" from this car. I'm thinking they are gonna build a big 'ole monster truck out of it. Time will tell
is just the speedo price on tower.
1/5th scale gas powered REVO!!
Heck, I'd even settle for a 1/5th scale ELECTRIC REVO!!
Thought I was feeling a little more tired than usual... LOL
As soon as I ran it the first time, I loved it. Now I have 3 of'em LOL I know my signature says 2, but one is sitting in a box waiting to be built. Still deciding if it's gonna be a backslash or...
ok, Gotcha everyone.
A true 1/8th scale set up it is.
Thanks for all the info.
Thank you for the replies.....
I might try to use the traxxas speedo, with a castle 2200kv motor. I guess the next question is will that combo work together?
Put me down for a "NO" on this one. I know there is a micro following out there, but it's just not for me.
Will that motor and speedo from the new supercar fit our slash 4X4?
I know it's a ton of power, but I've got 4 slashes, and one needs to "go big" on the power plant. All of'em are runnin' a stock...
I remember the 2.5 T-maxx was my first nitro, and also my first "hobby-grade r/c". I took it to a WIDE open abandoned parking lot to do the break in. As soon as I had the break in done, I loaded it...
add me to that list.
I'd love to see it done with a mmm like the B/L revo, or B/L e-maxx.
Boo traxxas for making you have to unlock the speedo with a stupid download. BOO!! TRAXXAS!!
make it go 100 m.p.h out of the box.
no downloads, no "unlocks"
