my antenna wire was the same length as the blue tube.
two standard nimhs can put mine on its lid pretty easy. as others have said its not good for it though
you just get yur summit? sudden stops all by itself?

they are a pain. there are two pinch tabs on the top and bottom of the carrier. I used a small flat head screw driver and pryed the tabs in and pushed the pivot balls through. pushing the tabs out...
only way i got one was to buy the whole steering rebuild kit.
