Do not have heat sink/fan set up.
Running the stock traxxas bearings.
Running stock gearing, running on an off-road track 80'x45', stock tires.
At the end of a run motor temp will be around 180-190 degrees. Do I need to increase or decrease teeth on the pinion/spur to bring the temp down? Thanks.
I've had my Slash 4x4 for a few years now and have not rebuilt the shocks. They still work fine, no damaged parts and they do not leak, is there any sense in rebuilding them?
I am not able to change the capacity of the charger, I have the EZ Peak 4-amp charger(2930).
I checked the voltages and they are between 7.5 and 8 after I have tried to charge them.
The voltage per pack is 8.4v(7-cell)
I have an EZ Peak charger and cannot get my NiMH batteries to charge. Some batteries are brand new, some have not been used since last November and some were used in the last 5 weeks but another...
I have the Ultimate with the aluminum adapter.
Thank you for the pictures that will help a lot. You mentioned that you used tape to seal off the bearing in the can of the motor, did you use masking tape, electrical tape?
That would help if it's no trouble. I did have those holes in the diff housing plugged up they are currently not plugged. That would explain the good amount of dirt in the housing.
If HGC means the high center of gravity chassis, yes I am using that chassis.
I have the blue anodized motor mount installed in the truck. I called Traxxas when I started having issues they sent me a new driveshaft and the motor mount hoping that would dissipate some of the...
I have been dealing with burning up the bearing for the Slipper clutch located in the chassis for a while. I cannot make it through 2 batteries. When the truck was new the bearing would last a while,...
I am getting ready to clean my Titan motor. I read on the Traxxas website that you need to lube the bushings with electric motor oil, is it ok to use WD40? If not, what product should I get? Thanks
It took a little time but I finally got the bearing out. I heated the crankcase with a small space heater and used a pick to pry it out.
How exactly do you get the inner bearing out? I don't see a way to tap it out of the backend.
I disassembled my 3.3 to inspect the bearings. The bearing in the middle of the crankcase needs replaced, it has a lot of play in it. You can move the inside race front and back, top to bottom and...
Did you have to replace any of the bearings in the crankcase? I disassembled my 3.3 and the bearing in the middle of crankcase needs replaced, to me there is a lot of play in the bearing. Wondering...
I have not adjusted the steering links.
I have noticed that when I turn the wheels to left everything is fine, but when I turn the wheels to the right they do not turn as much. I have not adjusted the steering trim or the steering end...
The power button on my ESC for my Slash 4x4 sticks when I turn it on. Any solutions to fix this?
My throttle and brake work but I have no steering. Sometimes the steering will work for a bit then it will stop and when it does stop there is no response from the steering servo. I am using 4 AA...
