I removed the return spring and used the linkage from a t-maxx but only do this if you have a fail safe.
If you get a new engine it will come with a pull start already on it also the slayer never had the 2.5 engine it came with the 3.3 engine stock from the start.
Because you replaced the piston and sleeve you have to start with break-in like a brand new engine reset the carb. to factory settings also check to see if the glow plug is good you could have a bad...
The slayer pro uses the same chassis as the Revo 3.3 so yes it will fit.
Their is only one center diff. for the slayer and a different one for the revo. As for the 2 wheel drive C/D no such animal think about it for a second why would you have a center diff. on a 2 wheel...
You can put duct tape on the inside of the tires to help with the ballooning. Another thing is sway bars will help with turning. As for the center differential you can't put the rear brake kit on...
Remove the wheels and hexes and you can get the drives shaft out. As for the pivot balls you need to remove the balls from the a-arms what I do is count the number of turns it takes to remove the...
I have only used the stock shaft never had any problems with them.
the GTR shocks and the Variable Damping Kit like was on the platinum revo great combination.
Variable Damping Kit
That looks like the 2006 model 5309 revo because of the shocks and the air filter.
Here is the manual for the 2006 revo
5309 revo manual 2006
I would also replace all the pillow balls...
The longer chassis will help and with the 3.3 chassis you can add the center diff. and that will help a lot. The sway bars are also a good idea too.
That DuraTrax 6031 will not fit the Traxxas OWB.
You will need one that looks like this...
Warm the engine with a hair dryer and then turn the engine over until you get the pop (when you turn the engine by hand and it gets hard and then pops and is then easy to turn over) leave the the...
You will never be able to get a true speed from the flywheel because of the 2 speed transmission and because the tires balloon when you're at high speed. As for the temp I moved my sensor around...
The slayer transmission is setup for the center diff. and rear brake so that's all you need.
You have to look for the back plate for the Traxxas 2.5 engine. It works on the 3.3
Ofna Shaft Start Back plate TMX 2.5
Look at bodies for the 3.3 Revo. The revo uses the same chassis as the slayer pro.
Yes you can led lights use such small amount of power you won't notice it. Just look for a kit that uses 7.2v or you can make your own kit yourself it's really super easy if you know how to solder....
What I do is mark the top of the diff. with a white paint marker have never put one in upside again after I started doing that.
I know a few friends who bought a t-maxx and wish they bought a revo but I don't know anybody who bought a revo and wish they bought a t-maxx.
The 3.3 chassis is 30mm longer other then that everything is the same.
search for Traxxas picture find the picture you like then right click on it and you can set as desktop wallpaper.
This is the one I use...
Sounds like one diff is upside down. hold the truck up and spin the spur gear and see if the front and back wheels turn in different direction.
With the 2.5 chassis you 're limited as to the body's you can use if you go to the 3.3 chassis you can use the platinum revo body and it doesn't need to be trimmed.
