They should be the same size. Are you sure they are going through the carriers properly?
Electric for sure....
First truck if I could do it all again with what I know now. Slash 2wd. Great fun, easy to maintain and can be turned into anything. LCG chassis from Traxxas is a cheap...
Sorry! ....... :)
The heavy motor and some not so nice front impacts led to this:
So after a little chat on here it...
Doh. Thanks folks. :)
I am aiming for the four shock set up on this Maxx. It weighs 12lb with batteries. They Hyper 7 Shocks are great but the springs are too weak.
What can I replace then with? The...
Can I ask what shock/springs you are using rock-rod?
So there is no benefit really and I can put them on the front as norm? Think they look better on the front but if the suspension geometry was better I would have put them on the rear. Thanks folks.
Can I ask. Why are the front shocks behind the front mount? I'm about to move to a four shock setup.
Possible the punch settings are different on the E-maxx ESC hence the wheelies. May need to adjust the throttle curve.
Looks beastly! :)
Report it to RPM and send it in. They should replace it for free.
Fair enough! My advice still stands if your using the older shafts. Have fun. :)
Another Vote for the RPM Skids. Amazing bit of kit.
Sounds fun. Only thing i can think of is make sure you set the slipper clutch correctly. More direct torque may snap the shafts if they are the thinner 2.5's still. :)
Same size....But why!? The Stock body is paper thin. Get a Proline body. :)
Internal BECs normally put out less than 6A and can be of dubious quality depending on the ESC etc. You are much better off having a dedicated BEC. This has the advantage of allowing you to control...
Two servo's are used as they are weak. You would be better if possible running one single strong servo and a External BEC. This takes some of the pressure of the ESC. I run a S@vox 1256TG. Turns the...
Too much Castle in this thread. You don't need to buy Castle if it is out of your budget range. I'm running a HobbyWing SC8 120A and 2200Kv on 4s. It's great fun. I do agree you need to move to Lipo...
Sounds like a faulty servo to me. Try them one at a time. Hopefully just the one has failed.
Sensored uses a extra cable and allows the ESC to sense where the rotor in the motor is for much better low end control. You will not get the 'Cogging' as much. For a Emaxx this is of little use IMO...
Would the RPM bulk head not resolve this?
I have been running 3s in my LCG Slash since day 1. Nothing broke so far. I run a Castle Combo as in my signature. I'd say the 5700kv has been nicer on my drive shafts than a 3500kv though. That will...
