Just a tip: Don't waste your money on Aluminum skids. That was the first upgrade I got for my Maxx years ago. I was totally stoked, finally had a little bling to it. Well, first day out, bent both of...

The carb body can be found anywhere that carries the 2.5. It's the same carb. I stripped mine where the HSN attaches (strips VERY easily) and had to get a new one, it's about $16.

I've heard drag racer's (r/c) use like 60%. Engines don't last very long though. I beleive the higher nitro %, usually the lower oil % so you're engine won't last as long, but you'll get more power....

If tuned right, an engine running 30% will run cooler.

The higher nitro content, the more finicky the motor is - a little more difficult to tune. But you'll get more power.

Cool. I'm impressed you were able to hang with an SUT. I saw one running a few weeks ago and they're silly fast. Maybe it was overpowered for your track, cause the truck I saw was just burning out...

I think it's starting to slowly trickle into the hobby shops. If you look on Tower they show most of them are expected in early August, so hopefully they'll show up in the next week or two.

Yeah, you can't beat the UE clutch. I've got one and I love it. But again, I'm not real sure it's needed on a small truck like this with a small engine. One of the main reasons a lot of small block...

I'm running a hitec 645 for steering and 625 for throttle. I'm kind of unhappy with the 645, I should have spent a little more and gotten the 945 or digital 5945 (I have it in another truck). The...

I don't think an 1/8th scale clutch will fit on the Revo. 1/8th scale clutches are thicker than Maxx/Revo clutches which means you need a longer bell, which means you need an SG shaft motor. The spur...

Personally, I think the $80 would be better spent on something else. An upgraded clutch isn't necessary with a small, mild (compared to hi-output .21's) motor like the 2.5R. If you went to a .21 or...
