Don't get the K&N stuff its not really a filter its just paper and the filters R/Cs need to run should be oiled to catch all the really fine dust. The paper just won't do that. Some people will say...
That is a really sweet truck. I like the idea of electric but I think I'm going to wait until Traxxas releases the big V retro-fit kit ;)
Nice I used to buy there too, when I lived down there.
and I just ordered some tools from Stormer Hobbies
Sort of, but if you don't want to use the CD all the time you need to buy both the CD and the FOC Kit.
No it is not a stand alone, you have to use the Center Diff. I already went through that and so I had to buy a FOC anyway.
I guess thats what I get for trying to save a few bucks
OK so you got me on that one only 9 out of 10 were Revos :p
Congrats Roy on the Win & TQ, it looked like you were on auto pilot the whole race very clean. Also its easy to fill the podium with Revos when they fill the A-Main :D
I was at the Hank Perry 240 yesterday in Spokane WA. There was a brushless Revo in the 30 min A-main and he held his own very well speed wise
Well then I better get my post in before that. I'm afraid it will be re-vamps of the boats.
You will also want to get a backplate. The easiest way is to get the Maximizer backplate.
I have the Traxxas ones on my 2.5 with the stock chassis and they work great.
I use this servo
with this Steering Arm
Go with what revo racer 01 said driving skills are number 1. I raced a few times last season and the first upgrade I would do is get the FOC. The second upgrade I would do is the steering mod with...
I do the After-run "After" every time I'm done running for the day. It helps keep the engine running in tip top shape.
I built and use the stand that is on Misbehavin's site. It was really easy to build and it works great.
I would get a IR temp gun like this instead of an onboard one
DuraTrax FlashPoint Infrared Temperature Gauge
If you have to get an onboard one get the Traxxas one :)
My dream car would have to be the Lamborghini Countach  don't really care about the year I just want one
That would be really cool. I have the same batteries and I'm in the same boat. Let us know what happens if you try it.
I'm going to leave them white and paint the body black with white rally stripes.
I would listen to some suggestions though
Well that would have been helpful before I put out the money for the 40 series geez
I'm working on turning my stock 2.5 Revo into a racing machine. Here is a list of the part that I purchased and some pics.
Pro-Line Crowd Pleazer 2.0 Body Revo
Pro-Line 1/8 Performance Wing...
All I can say is WOW!!! that paint is amazing I love it. I wan't my new CP body painted like that
This is I think the easiest way to go maybe no the cheapest but easy. The Tekno R/C wing mount
And use a Proline wing there are no holes in it so you can drill them to fit what ever...
Here is a link to a post about that truck.
4 Stroke Revo
I've seen him race this truck and it is really sweet. The truck can hold it's own and it sounds so cool.
That turned out really nice. Good colors and clean stripes can't ask for much better.
