$12 lol not too bad. I have the steel shafts on my SCX-10, and they're very well made, so I figured these might be a decent alternative to replacement stockers or dogbones.

I'm going to send it back. I run my batteries until it chatters one time and then I put in a fresh one. Is that too much?
I re-bound the radio to the rx, reset the ESC to the factory settings and the whole 9. Still nothing. Here's a video of the problem. You can hear the chatter noise when I first switch on the ESC.

The biggest pain in changing gears inside the box is taking the gearbox off the chassis. Once you're inside it, it's a breeze. Get a good towel for grease cleanup!
