I just spray a little wd-40 in the carb/piston after each run. Going on my 4th year (maybe 5 gallons max through it) of the original engine so it must work!
Thanks for the quick reply
easy enough question...
My stock on split before. It's just gonna keep splitting all the way up the seam and get oil everywhere. Perfect time for an upgrade. Upgrade as it breaks!
I just use a garden hose on the body and denatured alcohol in a spray bottle with an air compressor for everything else. I don't need to get it THAT clean since it's just gonna get dirty again. The...
hmm, I do know people with welders.
Dunno what kind they have though.
oh cool. I didn't think the stock header would work, I may try that. No since wasting a perfectly good pipe, and it looks cooler then the stock one anyway.
Let this be a lesson to you all. If you're gonna go off jumps, keep the body on!
Probably gonna do that. I still have the stock stuff. I found a couple online but that header is like $30. I don't wanna pay that much. :o
Whatta ya know, took my 2.5 T-Maxx out yesterday for a couple hours for the first time this spring and didn't break a thing.
Took it out today and took it off one jump and landed on engine. Broke...
I've used WD-40 since Day 1. My engine is going on 3 years old now and still running fine.
Runaway = loss of signal
Could be batteries
Could be other RF interference.
A $10-$15 failsafe is your friend! :D
I had RPM posts in the rear but put the stockers back on. The RPM's are thicker and they were rubbing on my THS Header. Just something to keep in mind.
RCboyz on ebay is my go to place.
I do not have ch3 on mine. I did the FOC.
Hmm, thats a good idea. I think I will do that. :D
Epoxy didn't work too good. It stripped right out. With a little finess I got some nuts on there. It ain't goin nowhere!
Hit the corner of a garage full speed. Didn't hit it head on, clipped it with one of the front tires. Gotta love the RPM arms! Only thing that broke were the bulkheads and the front skid plate....
How many of the holes did you use? Looks like some would be impossible to get nuts on.
$10.50 or free. I think I'll try the free way first. :D
hmm. Well that don't sound good. :o
Guess I'll find out myself tomorrow.
Where'd you buy them?
I guess you missed the last sentence in my original post, huh?
Yeah, I thought about that but it would be a pain in the butt to get nuts on them. Besides, most of them you can't even get a nut on because it you go longer the screw will end up inside the case if...
