Is the jconcepts bumper conversion needed or does the stock rally foam bumper fit? Thanks in advance.
The 2 black plastic gears are spur gears. The one on the vehicle should be 46T and the spares in the bags are 50T and 54T, I think. They will be marked on th side. I leave the stock 46T on and I...
Looks sharp. I got my clear body last month but not sure what color I want to paint it yet. I'm thinking white also so it matches my other RCs.
I don't think you can go wrong with either. I got the Teknos because they are cheaper. I run 3s and 4s with MMP 2400 combo and have not had any problems.
I think the manual says 100k in the front and 10k in the rear.
14/46 is stock. 21/46 should be good for around 70-75mph. If you use the Traxxas App, you probably have to update the gear numbers under model setup in the garage. To keep that setting, make sure...
Was that on 8s? If so, what gearing was that?
I see the pictures now.
Inspect the whole antenna cable to make sure there are no kinks or rips. If you have another RC you could link either Tx or Rx to narrow which one is the problem.
I hope you do too, that way I can see the video. 30 degrees by me so no run for me.
Here is the e-mail I got back.
A part number has not yet been announced. I am sure it will be $180 like the EVX-2 though. I am unaware of any plans for a power up option from non LVD to...
Forgot to mention also that your Tx and Rx might go thru a firmware upgrade. Best to be on WiFi like mentioned above.
I don't remember the order but you have to accept a few disclaimers, watch a video, enter your last 4 digits of driver's license, store you bought it from, and an e-mail. Then you get an e-mail and...
I use the ones that came with the car but I also have a pair of Sky Lipo 40C 5000 maH. I needed the tall battery clips (part # 6427x) with the Sky lipos.
I just sent an e-mail to them. I'll reply back when I get an answer from them.
Anybody know the part number for that new ESC. I checked the parts pdf but it has 3019 which I think is the original EVX-2.
I've had the Teknos on for over a year and no problems. Got the aluminum bedded also. I don't thinkin you could go wrong with either Teknos or MIP.
Disable is towards 0. It has the * so it is a default setting. Let me know what you think of it when it is disabled.
Did you try "disable" also? I tried the limit at 10 and it had more punch than when it was 5. But I tried disable and it seems like that had more punch than 10.
I have Paragon FX and it works good. It smells like wintergreen gum and some people get sick of the smell but just use it in a well ventilated area and you'll be fine.
+1 on the trenchers. I would suggest taping them to prevent balooning up at high speeds.
I taped the wheels and did not notice any balooning. I got it up to 61 mph (ipod indicated). I checked the undertray and did not see any signs of rubbing.
I went down to 1.26. I downgraded from 1.31 and I noticed less cogging.
Here are the part #:
Proline Road Rage street 1/8 buggy tires - # 9012-00
Thunder Tiger 5 spoke wheel, 17mm 1/8 black - # PD1946-B
They are about the same height as stock and the width is about...
I had to trim the fenders.
