you're overgeared. The truck is geared for 2s out of the box. Go down to an 11t pinion, and WOW! NO overheating. jeez, it's not that hard!
probably not why?
you need aluminum soldering flux, or zinc paste. not sold at radio shack. You can also buy a lipo sized a123 pack for like $30 from hobby city
Can't justify the cost? Lipos are far cheaper than ur promatch packs!
2x ******* 5000mah 20c hardcase packs : $40
iMax B6 lipo balance charger: $40
Power supply: $15
2x Lipo alarm: $6
maxamps only says that so that they can justify their high pricetag.
Asheck is right. The offset and hex size are not teh problem, but more the part that joins the a arm to the wheel, the carrier. It is bigger in diameter than the inside of a standard 2.2 wheel. That...
if you are not gonna run on pavement, go with a Jconcepts SC goosebumbs, or the proline SC calibers. These trucs use SC rims and tires for a reason. I hate it when people stick 2.2 or 2.8 truck...
WOW a lot of false info here. Number one, a lipo cell can be discarged to 2.89v/cell under load, or 3.2v/cell after sitting for 15-20 mins. Second, your lipo will not catch on fire because you...
after running the rx8 in mt hot bodies ve8 for a month now, I have decided, that I will never again buy the MMM. (hey, I made a rhyme!) The quality and driveability of the system is far superior to...
Either way, you will want to go with the tekin. I have 2 tekins and 2 MMM's. I have Had 1 issue with the tekin (rotor detachment) I called tekin, and 3 days later there was a new rotor waiting on my...
Also, that adapter sucks up a lot of your current
there is a lipo charge mode, which only charges the pack, and a lipo balance mode, which both balances and charges the pack at the same time.
no way. you arent getting 45 out of a heavy vehicle on nimh
I have tried M11 with spektrum, M11 with airtronics 2.4, Futaba 3pm with FAAST, Futaba 4pk FASST, DX3S, DX3R, and KO EX-10 Helios.
I can afford any of them, but i chose the 3pk with FAAST, because...
What is the earliest in teh day that you have ever had UPS deliver a package?
I was running in 50º weather. not to cool. I will get some more, but it is strange that you guys are not breaking any, and I am breaking a ton driving easily and not crashing.
storm is talking about novak's 1/10 scale 540 5.5 motor for 1/10 buggies. Not the HV 1/8 motor.
all of the way in
I just built an E slayer using an E-revo chassis and slayer arms and 17mm buggy wheels. I have ran less than 2 sets of battery packs through it, running it easily on an 1/8th scale offroad track, and...
I meant the zippies, not the *******s maybe that's why the zippies are slower if they havent woke up.
so you are running slayer springs, not revo, right? I wonder if green revo springs would work ok?
how many runs are on the zippies. if they are new, they will take a lil while to wake up
To the OP:
What suspension setup are you running?
What wheels are those, front or rear (because of different offsets)
What position are your body posts in?
all you will have left of your slash is the shocks, radio, VXL, and batteries. It would be easier and much cheaper to wait a little while, then buy a roller new on ebay.
