I've been away from my truck for a few years. My favorite local bashing spot was bulldozed and I lost interest, but have recently began to miss it. I decided to add some minor upgrades to my 3.3. ...
I used the Zombie Max for a long time on standard Maxx wheels. There were great but I wanted a change when I pulled the T-Maxx out of storage.
This probably doesn't help, but I just mounted a...
That's the one I got and it's really works well! I suggest it to anyone who is looking to extend run-time and use high-torque servos!
I set mine up the way you did. It worked great. I put a tank through it this afternoon in the yard. Tomorrow... back to the dirt!! Thanks for your help!
Thanks. But one question... the servo saver seems (to me) to be pointed 180 degrees from the stock one?
OK, I just installed a new Ballistic rechargable battery pack, a Hitech 645mg steering servo, and have a Kimbrough servo saver to install. Someone show me a photo of how the servo saver should look...
I thought it was the black one, but figured I'd ask before I put in my order.
Thanks to all!
Is this servo saver (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXS362&P=ML) what I need to use with the 645MG? Or, is the Kimbrough for gas trucks (the black one) the one I need to order?
Pic from this past Friday night (Feb 16) in Raleigh. My 9-year old had a great time! http://www.mustangmods.com/ims/u/1665/2649/144310.jpg
Went to Monster Jam in Raleigh NC last night! Pretty cool! My 9-year old daughter loved it! We met Carl VanHorn during the pre-race Pit Party! Seeing the monster-truck sized T-Maxx is a treat...
Thanks for all the replies! I'm definitely going to get the Ballistic hump pack and mate that with new servos.
Ok, I'm interested in the Ballistic RX 2700Mah pack to replace the 4 AA's.
Those with experience with this...
I'll add a shot of one very happy 3.3!
Personally, I don't want to venture into the 40 series tire/wheel combo. My Talons aren't in that bad of shape and I'm going to think on it some more. In the end, I'm just going to have to give...
I wonder how the Zombies would do with Ofna medium (yellow) foams? And, who carries the Zombies and currently has them in stock?
I know there are a ton of threads on the tire subject, but I recently find that I just can't make up my mind on what tire would be best for me. I like the look of the Zombies, but keep reading how...
Happy New Year to all! Be safe!
I can get 8 to 12 tanks on a set of four Energizer Max AA batteries before they give up. That's one problem I don't seem to have.
Ok, I know this may sound a like a newbie reply, but here goes.... I'd try taking the antenna loose and opening the receiver case to make sure all the conections are securely plugged in. My 3.3 did...
As a nitro rc newbie, I'd go with the T-Maxx 2.5r or 3.3. Either way he would have a truck that is fairly simple to get started on, and it could take the beating a newcomer will put on it! I'm very...
I'd still like some sort of answer on this, if anyone has experience replacing the stock servo saver with the Ofna one?
I take it this is a better servo saver than the stock one on my 3.3? Is is a direct swap out?
Pine Level is a little further east than mid-state. It is actually located about 30 miles east of Raleigh, off US 70, about a mile east of I-95. I now on the search for more places to bash!
I got it sometime late last winter and just started on the third gallon of fuel. I've been lurking on the forums for a while but just started posting sometime this month.
Pic after yesterday's fun at my favorite bashing spot!
