well that is what it was stock, I replace the 4l60e with a 4l80e and the engine is out of a 03 2500 hd, LQ4 6.0l, It's still stock though....
Yes, I don't like the idea of burning out on street tires, I was needing traction BAD, and heating them up (dry, not going threw the "burnout box" or by picking the"dry lane") It helped a ton. 1.7...
What about a truck?:)
Hey everyone, I've been here before the Revo was released, but I now spend most of my time on my truck (Full sized). I still come here and get the info I need or just to see whats up.
I beat my...
can some-one give me the Revolutions web site. I can't find it
I just ment it was nice to see something different.
I like it! It's a nice change to see insted of one big tank set-ups.
I ran the 60-1 with the 5.3 and the 6.0 for alittle while, but the truck has now got a GT67.
I guess I could be in here, I do not use a fail safe. after seeing oveRPower's failsafe equipt revo go acrossed a field out of control I wasn't sold on the failsafe set-up.
No need to argue, but if the bolts holding the shoes are out of adjustment then brake "cam" (not sure of the real name) part number 5388 will not beable to aplly the brakes fully, there for the...
I don't think there is anymore room with the new ext. A-arms because you still have the ability to run the stock wheelbase settings with them.
PLEASE READ THE SECOND AND THIRD POSTS in this thread!!!!
Have you ever heard of a feeler gauge?????????
Thanks for your input:rolleyes:
I used springs out of a click type pen insted of fuel tubing. Adding tubeing or springs wont increase brake pressure but take it away,(servo now has to overcome the spring or tubing) it will also...
I like my Moabs, but I've never ran mashers
I was wondering how long it would take before some-one steped up. I thought I was going to be the first.
One thing, is the wire that you used going to flex when brakes are applied?
don't for get to check the clutch bell bearings
Another vote for the Engine clutch, it most liklly melted first then took out the spur gear.
it is normal (I think) mine are all that way I think the fuel turnos them a different color.
there are locking body clips made, and you could alwas hook the clip to the body with string so when it does pop off you don't lose it.
Also what way do you install the body clips, front to back or...
I planed for the trans and the rear-end before I bought the turbo. the engine was a bit of a suprize though. lol
I've got more money in the truck than it cost to buy the truck in the first place....
Yep then the carb opens all the way and you have a very lean engine. If I ever notice my Revo carb setting seam way off I check to make sure the carb is opening before I start retuning.
The three speed kit does sound like a good Idea, if you got to keep the slipper, if you want top speed just buy a wide ratio set. second gear is very tall IMO.
Ya I knew what I was getting into when I installed the turbo. And this (working on the truck) is another hobby of mine, Snapping a rearend is like braking a A-arm on my Revo. Just costs a whole LOT...
