Check this to read all about it:
I live in Europe too, and I bought some loctite in a normal hardware store overhere... No prob.
I got this kind:
Just ask for loctite threadlocker....
Just an fyi,
Setting the preload that higher might cause your springs to collapse before the skids hit the ground. When the springs are full collapsed, the rest of the shocks energy is transferred...
-Yes you should use three 100nF ceramic capacitors (not resistors...), just like on the titans. They prevent interference.
-Your tiny wires going to the motors are most probably a bottleneck. Try...
Looked really fun!
Looks like you're getting the hang of jumping... ;)
Did the spur damage come from landing with to much throttle?
What servo is that? Proline single servo arm? Can we see the bottom (scratches)
Cooler batteries, agreed. Because the 4s batteries aren't pushed to their limits as hard as the 5s are.
Cooler ESC and cooler motor, how do you figure that?
Having higher voltage (5s) will allow...
I'll ive it a try and see if I feel a difference, and if I like it ofcourse.
So do you? ;)
Very nicely documented, I'd love to see a vidoe ;)
I have some questions though:
How hot is the motor getting? (°F)
What batteries are you running?
Could you give us a technical drawing or...
If you buy the ERBE you get the radio and adapters with it, and that is a cheaper route than buying a E revo and upgrading it to brushless later.
The brushed version will allow you to run in water...
MC plugged that 10s in his MMM too, it wasn't on purpose. :)
Good explanations people.
If this is true, than what is the downside of having the arms in the lower mounting hole?
Because if it does stop body roll, it's great and I don't see why so few people...
This is the way I see it:
Ofcourse the Swaybars and hinge pin location method work completely different, they are mechanically a completely different setup. (as you said, side per side vs. both...
no problem ecopsorn, have fun with it!
Martin, post a reply here when you've posted your build thread plz!
You can't cut the antenna, I'm 95% sure that's the problem.
It doesn't matter if it reaches the top of the straw, do you think the electromagnetic waves see a difference if the antenna is over the...
The manual says mounting the suspension arms in the lower holes will increase roll stiffness, like swaybars do. I fthat's the case, then why don't I hear about anyone else doing it? Because surely...
It has been discussed many times, the Dewalts have stronger magnets than stock. And therefore they have more resistance if you try to roll them.
No problem. :)
You'll need 3 capacitors, not two. Look carefully how they are soldered on the Titans, do it the same.
You can take them from the titans or buy new ones.
They are 100nF ceramic capacitors.
I live in Belgium, we have thieves here to. Except they managed to be accepted by the government as legal. They pay the government part of their loot.
They are notorious among all people who buys...
You can always place the batteries more to the front to place more weight on the front tires.
Use the battery retainers and remove the foam if you want...
Can you also use something other than motor spray?
I have graphite grease, dry lubricant, WD40, compressed air, oil, and water ;)
This one time, I read a useless topic, and ... Well that's it really.
You should ask a question, and give us some circumstances and descriptions of what happened...
To be safe, I'd cut open the pack and dispose of the damaged cell.(while you're in there you can take a look and see what was damaged etc.)
Close it back up and you have a 2s pack!
Then you can run...
man your CD is wasting alot of power (and rubber ;) ) on the front wheels.
Maybe some thicker oil... You'll have to be a bit easier on the throttle then though.
