no one can ever have enough power! I have 40C 5000s and i have no issues
have you tried just pulling on the springs to stretch them out a little? they might have been under enough pressure that they shrunk
the VG racing ones are great for big jumping. i have dual rate RC raven springs on mine right now and its significantly better than stock
I have the stock shocks and I got heavier oil and springs and now they are much better
+1 dremel for the win!
also depending on the screw, a lot of the hex screws have an edge like a coin that if you can get to it with a needle nose plier, you can turn it like a nut
These should work right? Losi TEN-T Truggy Rear Shocks
anyone know what the diameter of these are? I can't find it anywhere
i guess ill start with 4 and go from there. they look like good shocks though. time to start saving :)
with the mugen mbx buggy shocks would you still need to run all 8 or would these support the truck running only 4?
Does anyone make a threaded shock cylinder that matches up with the traxxas big bores? I wanna buy the bigbores and replace the cylinder. Or are there better shocks that come stock threaded but...

EMBE = awesome! just remember that no matter what you buy, there will always be something that can break
You could make a ton of money selling the idea to Traxxas. 1/16 emaxx would be the rival to the mini revo
that sounds kool. my next body is gonna be the Wrangler rubicon from HPI
you might have some unbalanced weight that gets thrown off when your speeding
Tekin makes good motors. I'm not sure if they have an 1800kv version but you can always check the site
are the big bore shock bodies metal? my buddy got his yesterday and they feel plastic. Is it just because of the teflon coating that gives it that feel?
I bought my emaxx about 4 months ago and I always think back to the day when I got the truck and I was too cheap to get the revo. I will definitely say it has been a major learning experience tearing...
you should be fine running 24/68. I would monitor the temps and you can always adjust it. AoD will most likely chime in on this and agree. There is also a Top Speed Chart
24/68. the mamba monster gearing guide states that if you want 65+ then gear 28/65. what c rating are you running?
you could run 24 and be good. I run 22 with 4s
+1 on AOD. I'm running 22/68 on 4s
that is pretty lucky. I would use that against my wife to get more money towards the truck:D.at least they didn't jack any of the other stuff cuz they probably would've kept those.
I have the axial beadlocks on mine AX8042 that I got from my LHS and I believe it's a 1/2 in. offset
EMBE - E-Maxx Brushless Edition
PLR - Pro Line Racing
and I run my trenchers with 6S with no issues. it's like night and day after you tape them
