Tried to post a picture
Didn't work so back to drawing board!
And it runs! Old 2.5 trx bearing did the trick, tried to search for one but can't find a new one.
I have set the carb to factory settings. Which runs fine on my Revo 2.5r engine. The engine seems to have good compression and I have had it started. There is fuel flicking up around the flywheel, it...
I bought a new trx3.3 from the states last year, broke it in as per manual, ran fine for around 20 odd tanks, always used wd40 to after run. I put in a 2.5 Revo. One afternoon in the park it sounded...
On closer inspection, the top of the piston is pitted, the bottom of the cooling head is too, guess this is where the bearing gave way. New piston and sleeve is £65, bearings are £25. Plus postage....
Think I might be easier to buy a new engine, parts in uk are a bit more expensive than the US. Pretty peeved about it really
I have put my old 2.5 in tonight but it won't fire up, sounds like it wants too, so will mess with it tomos. Might look for another 3.3 as it is fun with a bigger engine.
I had my inner bearing go tonight, engine hard to turn over by hand and ez start, stripped engine and bearing is shot, tried to heat up to get it out and all the ball races fell out with the inner...
Bought a 3.3 trx back in May when I was on holiday in the states. Followed run in procedure and have only put 12 tanks thru when tonight, my truck died and seemed difficult to turn over on...
Anyone know if it should wheelie?
when this motor expires I will MAYBE upgrade to a 3.3
I put in a 3.3 into my tmaxx 11/12 years old now, it goes like stink but I have gone thru a few spurs gears, it might be due to me not...
Thanks, taken me 2 hours to swop over, revo is stupid quick in straight line, need to change shift point, should it wheelie? Must admit road is a damp outside as we have had rain today.
So I bought a 2004 2.5r revo in bits (and I mean bits) got it back together in a week with the original 2.5 engine. All runs fine. I upgrade my tmaxx 2.5 by dropping in a new 3.3 that I...
Yeah I did, got parts to fit now and new spring for slipper assembley
Well it's going back together slowly but surely, correct bolts in the correct holes is the most difficult bit.
I purchased a 2004 revo today, it is in absolute bits and covered in mud, so after a good wash of all the main bits I have discovered one of the diffs is glued and there is no fuel tank....
Ok,thanks, is there a lot of difference apart from the engine between the revo models?
Hi, got the chance to buy a revo 2.5, it's in bits for 50 pounds (around 77 bucks) is it worth it and will my 3.3 out of my tmaxx go in ok?
Gear lasted a 1/4 of a tank
Oh it's a tmaxx 2.5 with a 3.3 put in if that helps. I'm thinking too much power maybe?
I have just stripped a new spur gear, did the paper test and locked up engine bolts tight, put in new slipper pegs, what am I doing wrong?
Stacking shelves at a supermarket when I was 15.
It does say in manual but, take out glow plug and pull off air filter, I use wd40 for after run, put a 1 second squirt in glow plug hole, open up carb to full and put a 1 second squirt in there, then...
I use byron 20% gen 2, traxxas fuel hard to get in the uk
