I don't know how into RC you are and how experienced you are with your cars, but buying a used car isn't a bad option! eBay has some great deals. I haven't bought a new car or new electronics in 5-6...
Through my experience with reedy I will not be using a team associated product ever again. When I told the guy on the phone that I wouldn't be using reedy again and that I'd use cheaper brands that...
I've only heard positive experiences from SMC.
I've never used them before so I can't speak from experience but I will likely in the near future.
One brand I would like to warn you about is...
You make a very valid point with the throttle control. I enjoy the slash 4x4 because of how easily you could tear it down. But many could say the same about the rustler.
Sent from my iPhone...
Man oh man I wish I had that introduction when I first got into RC... That's basically everything you need to get started.
I personally recommend Traxxas to anyone trying to get into the RC world...
19, all started when I was around 8 or 9 and my dad bought me a losi mini lst... I remember the first time it broke I cried to him saying what happened lol; didn't know you could rebuild them....
Look at the HPI savage XL bodies maybe?
What type of computer skills do you need? Maybe I could help?
Why don't you just measure the distance on the plastic parts?
What type of CNC machine did you get?
For me, CNC was too expensive and so I got myself a manual mill haha
Trust me, for parts that are very complex, you'll want to use some program because I've seen a single line of code take up 16 pages. And it was a rather small part.
If you ever need help with G&M codes, I had to take a whole semester of hand writing all of my codes so I'm sure I could help you lol. Good job though!
I've got a rustler roller which is the same thing,
bump to the top
Bump, looking to trade for a slash 4x4 roller.
With the dawn of 2 stroke petro engines coming in, I'd try to do a gas engine!
Ah I guess that makes sense,
I say put it on some concrete and take pics because the wood blocks just make it look fake... Without the wood blocks I wouldn't be able to tell the difference
