Mine does that too.
I've owned mine for a month and I've only had to replace a drive shaft, A-arm, diff servo, and slipper clutch.
I use the Onyx 245 and it works OK. Usually times out and I just have to restart it to get a charge. Forgot to mention, I did break a drive shaft as well
In the one month I've owned my summit, I've had to replace one A-arm, one differential servo, slipper clutch,
Best thing you can do for your summit is buy yourself a pair of SPC 8200 batteries...
I think I got me a lemon...something breaks every time I take out my summit...
Can I keep using it with a dead front diff servo?
Whats a good non-traxxas replacement?
How do I run the plug...
Why do you want to turn them off? They use almost zero energy
Never did like stickers on a mean manly truck :)
Never did like the decals....
So I was bored and I had some paint....whatcha guys think?
Bearings were in good shape so I just cleaned them out and reassembled. I took an accidental dive into 3' deep salt water....twice :)
yup, except this was rusted in and I ended up holding the carrier in my hand while pounding it into concrete patio to get it off. Its all back together now thanks guys for the help :)
Got it off with some force....no more swimming for this summit :)
So broke the rear left Drive shaft and now I cannot get this thing out for the life of me. Is there another pin/screw that I'm not seeing?
So my bran new buzzer started screaming at me on first contact with water.....is this normal? will it work again once dry? its the $4 buzzer spc racing sells
Looks like most of us are using our summits on similar terrain, so what is everyone using?
How good is the stock spur?
What do you guys think about the steel ones?
is the stock spur gear 68T?
Still waiting for the sun to go down so I can take it out :)
Looks like a great spot. U just reminded me there's an abandoned school in my area :)
If I dont buy the kit, owuld I need to buy the 2 resisters and some wires/plugs?
Thank you! So the $60 kit simply eliminates the need to have to enlarge those holes on the bracket?
so when you buy the dewalt, do you just take the pinion off the stock motor and slap on the dewalt, or do you need a new pinion?
Are they so much better than stock ones that you would replace perfectly good stock tires?
Maybe its just me, but once you got the Summit...the rest of them just dont measure up
