Just curious, are center diffs from other brands just better? (losi, hpi, etc).. or is traxxas designed only for race applications? I read and watch reviews of scte ten 2.0 as an excellent basher,...
think its like 13/54 ish..
if you run it hard, it should help quite a bit, affects most of the drivetrain in general, drive shaft wont wobble, wont kill your front diff etc.. all pro's no cons other than added cost..
Gonna run mine tomorrow, will post temps.. will bring the temp gun and shoot temps on a 22/50.. i took out the 25T for now.. Would know already if my stupid telemetry sensor didnt get lost by the...
its almost overkill for a tx.. i use it for my 3.3 revo (rx-461) and my 4x4 lcg slash (rx-462)
Got it primarily for switching, and telemetry so i can watch nitro engine temps.. found the yeah...
i think the mip's are beef as heck (based on looks), I only have the xo-1s myself but run on 5s, and 25t pinion.. so far they've held up fine, they do cost significantly more than mip's though. kind...
only plastic on the xo1 cvd's are on the upper shaft that connects to the diff.. plastic cover over the metal shaft that has a rib to hold the rubber boots on..
probably quite a bit lighter than the...
hah, learn something new everyday.. when i goto PL's site.. i use the choose by kit, then drill down to tires or wheels, i know its cheating
haha, since we run just about the same setup.. you try out anything higher yet? I'm running 25t pinion, and 50t spur.. gets warm, but its still usable in terms of not overheating, now in terms of...
MIP here, regular hex driver with plastic translucent yellow handles, and same size in speed tip 1/4 hex shank for power tools.. cost quite a bit more than any other set, but VERY sturdy reliable
Great TX/RX.. very customizable.. FYI, they make the RX-462.. that reads battery voltage instead of receiver voltage (useless)..
I have the 462, and i just bought a yeah racing telemetry sensor.....
they should mount on the inside , i just did a set
2.2 wheel radios outside, and 3.0 wheel radius inside
Ditto.. got my slash like a month ago.. basically its a new car now.. try some of the bigger shops dollarhobbyz, ebay, towerhobbies etc..
Curse you el sob.. was thinking about it.. what you just said, just confirms i want one to help protect the body
Edited for language abuse. If you see a starred out word in your post, you must...
i THINK it does, but the XO-1/ERBE use a different cup with deeper screws.. I verified this when i took apart my stocker to check it out, and also when I took the XO-1 apart to change diff oil.
Just get a xo-1 diff on eBay, I got 2 for 25 shipped

mip has their speed tips.. basically exact as the hand drivers, but a 1/4th bit hex to load into power tool, 1.5, 2, 2.5 come in a set.. 3 is additional/separate..
i have/use both, when i strip...
motor plate: TRA6890
motor mount HCG: TRA6860A, TRA6860R
motor mount LCG: TRA7460, TRA7460X
or you could go aftermarket
need more info..
if you're upgrading for the first time, goto the XO-1 CVD's.. bit more money, but they are 6mm, vs slash/tmaxx 4mm
Try D8's.. if you want a set of GTR's i have a take off from my platinum..
Put HB D8's on (stock oil).. running red springs in the rear and grey up front, backed out the preload completely, and been working pretty good so far, no real hucking, but doesnt seem to bottom out...

Did you contact VG, if so, what did they say?
