I'm with Jay on his recommendations. I run my center diff with 50k and it works really well. Don't change your rear toe in. By decreasing rear toe it make the truck more unstable at high speed...

Nice looking truck Jay. I'm seriously considering a different chassis for my slash. I'm interested in hearing how it handled at the track. How much did the chassis cost?

Keep an eye on the hinge pins on the ends of the a-arms. Every once in a while mine would walk themselves out and hit the inside of the rim. It wouldnt hurt either to go over all the nuts and bolts...

Not a big fan of integy, parts their quality is hit or miss. A fan on the esc is a good insurance policy, can't go wrong with the traxxas unit (part #3340 $25.00).

I put Steve Slaydens set up in my slash and it really helped the truck rotate in the corners. Its worth taking a look at.

I agree with everyone else too, go with the Ultimate. I think the aluminum parts are pretty good quality. I race my Slash and it has survived some bad crashes and a few good run ins with the wall...
