You can put those inside the shock body on the shock shaft for different bound and rebound speeds and strength.

ohh i totally forgot about that! i havent had it happen on a velinion system but i hace on my viper system
bashed a bit rolled over mid way through pack (running older stampede tires for bash) noticed my RR tire fly off......poop.....
turns out the yoke shaft couldnt handle the rollover and stripped it...
there are other options out there as well these are just what i like and use pulls lots of heat off of my viper 4500kv keeps it about 140~160 depending on ambient temp after a full race at 7 min i...
i like the hot racing ones that i have similar to this
and the wires plug in to a normal port on the receiver thats open or can buy...
do you mean the hex inside?
like a pane of glass? ill have to do that next time its apart..
can get cooling fans cheap i have 1 on each of my esc and motor. they will help big time
get an ir thermometer they are very helpful before racing bashing keep an eye on temps get heat sinks to help control them. i have a vxl sysytem and i keep it below 180s on average same with your esc...
i think i may have a bent spur shaft i have the same problem with any size or material.
woa. slightly off topic is there any footage?
try the balance charge and make sure the mode you are in weather its sport or training?
post run is what he means bud.. and i still run my stock slippers but run metal spur.
i like the stock resin shafts personnaly. give me a fail point if i dont get the tires slowed down during a roll. saves all my internals from stripping same with my spur and pinions.
.. as you can see the first thing to go is always different for mt with the xl5 was the titan 12t it just wore down dont know why... chasis wise the first thing to go was .. oh heck i cant remember!...
i have a set of the vintage stampede tires i use for really loose stuff or screwing around wery happy and glad i still use stock axels.
i have SMC 2s 50c lipos and i love them dont get too hot havent had any over current through the connectors. the venom 2s that i had pushed too much and un soldered my connectors
depending on what you are doing with it (bashing or racing) can adjust the shock position and get about an inch or so from that as well.
+1 on the new lock nut another alternative is a weaker thread lock i have locktite 242 blue works great keeping the nut in place.
I think sometimes you may just get a bad gear ive had my slash for 5 years now all with stock internals.... went from the 12t titan nimh set up to 2s lipo on VXL3.
although i do occasionally...
i managed to get a proline bumper to fit on my hr plate works like a champ but kinda looks goofy where mounted.
might be a better post for the batteries forum but with my experience with lvd it has been after my packs are a bit older 1 year or more and maybe 30 cycles on them
