I wanna know if ROAR is allowing E REVO's as legal vehicles in their events before I decide to purchase one. Any thoughts?
You can run the 2200 if it's geared properly. You'll have to ditch the stock motor box cause the Castle won't fit; Integy has some. You may have to mod in a way to cover the motor from scraping...
I gave up on it for a few days, been racing my rustler. Thanks a lot. With this info, it has encouraged me to give it another go, so I will. I'll let u know how it turns out
Throttle curve helped! That's great!
This may seem crazy...but I'm liking the mini a little better than the big one. Yes the big revo is in a class of its own as far as speed but for this size truck of a revo, I'm liking the many...
GOOD IDEA!!! I see how the wires are all out the way, giving it a clean look and more importantly, a better COG!!!
Nice!!! Is 50% enough! Wow! 50% is still blazing with that motor!
Oh okay. So as long as you buy them in series you should be fine. Does your motor and esc stay cool after running for a long period of time?
Maybe I was now that I think about it. So two lipos would give you what kind of run time you guessing? And would it increase torque? I need more torque than speed.
What do you mean by parallel. Sorry, I'm new to the technical aspect of rc; but I can drive anyone spectacular. Weird, I know. Lol
Oh really! I've never changed the actual motor connectors before
I plan on using a single 2s Lipo. I was told not to use double lipos as that can be catastrophic for this 16 scale at the speed and gearing needed to keep the esc and 380 cool.
Nice, clean set up!!! I like the tubing on your wires too, very interesting. Yeah got the castle experience when I got my big revo and I've been blown away!!! I love the many set up options with the...
I could solder the esc to match the 380 motor right? I believe the esc's at castle come unsoldered if I'm not mistaken?
Wow!!! I love the info! It makes sense that it won't over heat because usually 540's or even 550's are matched with that ESC. My first thought was that you couldn't match a 380 with it. Somebody told...
Sweet set up all aluminum!!! I actually thought strongly about swapping out the servo as well...maybe even going dual...but I'm guessing one great servo is better than two okay servos
Absolutely!!! Exactly what I was saying, I'm more so interested in another esc than motor. I'm comfortable with the stock motor. So would I be able to use a Mamba Max Pro esc with the stock motor...
I do like the stock motor but the vxl esc irritates me a lot. So are you saying that a Mamba Max Pro esc should fit in with out any modding?
Handling is surely more important to me than speed, seeing as though I'll be running on an indoor track. I actually do like the stock motor a lot!
My LHS is starting a mod class for 1/16 E Revo's
Low, lol, but I want a castle set up and I'm not sure what size motor can will go in a 1/16 scale version of the Revo
Oh okay. So the 540 motors fit in the 1/16 revo's?
What motor/esc combo would you all recommend besides the vxl system to stick in my 1/16 e revo? I'm not sure what size of anything I should get because the scales so small compared to my other revo....
Magnum, how do I pull off the servo horn? I'm new to rc and I don't understand what you mean.
I swapped out the Traxxas stock receiver with a Spektrum DX3S last night. I binded correctly and set the vxl esc with the radio. It give me throttle and brake, but when I power it on, the steering...
