Sadly this coupon code only works if you received the email, sucks because I had a $60 order sitting in my cart.
Tower has it as "on order." You can order it from Jconcepts right now, $36 plus $14 shipping to my place. I will wait for either my LHS or tower to get them in stock.
This is up on Jconcept's site, $36 plus shipping. Going to hold out for Tower, they have must more reasonable shipping.
There is more liquid then there is powder in a container.
Both work the same, just make sure you fully dissolve the powder before submerging your stuff to be dyed.
I have them mounted on 2.2 revolvers I think... Not that you can see my rims here.
Wish I had the cash for that, I'd drive over and pick one up today.
I think I may want the manta more then the Baja bug now. I've always liked the flat colors on most RC bodies. One fun trick, paint the body silver on the inside then paint the outside the flat...
I love my rattler and truth. Next body I plan on getting is the baja bug body.
That gladiator is nice looking too.
I use the proline sandpaws. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXDT99&P=ML
Got them for use at my parents place in NM on the sand dunes, but never got a chance to run them there. ...
I got mine in June 08 and it already had the headlights and back stuff stickered. Only thing left for me to put on was the traxxas.com stuff and my numbers.
I'd try the search, there were at one point tons of threads on these chassis covers.
Thanks Daniel. I typed the model number in wrong, I put 6806 instead of 6808.
Does anyone have a link to the PDF parts list for the 4x4? I could only find the 4x2 list.
I also like hitting the outside of the body with a coat of flat or semi-gloss clear coat to deaden the shine a little.
Your front body mounts are fine, you'll need the rear. You also are going to need the slash chassis, nerf bars, front/rear bumpers, skid plates, battery bar. I believe the A-Arms are the same, but...
When I rebuilt my two slashes I took one of my kid's rubbermaid toy tubs and poured black rit dye into it and dropped my chassis into it over night. Looks much like what he did with his.
Not a bad mod, but I would have left some prongs on the end away from the screws and bent them up the sides of the bumper and then bent them again over the top.
I have a Titan the got some mud in it and is running like crap. Is there a tutorial on taking them apart so I can clean it out and hopefully get it running again?
These were the front holes. They were closer to the front of the truck and closer together.
Really? I thought the slayer had the same body mounts as the slash. Thanks for the info Dean.
I noticed when I was drilling holes in either my Truth or Rattler I forget which it had a 2nd set of marks which I bet were for the SC10 body. I wonder if aftermarket SC10 bodies will have marks for...
I converted my Stampede into a Slash and haven't missed it one bit. One for me and one for my daughter. But if I was to get a 3rd truck I'd probably get another Stampede.
Is there a reason for 3...
With a Parma Rattler body there is no rubbing. Just got my Sand Paws on my Traxxas Nylon rims (would've used my Claws if I didn't have all fronts), waiting on the glue to dry as I type.
I'm headed to my parents in New Mexico in a week and a half for most of June and I'm bringing at least one Slash with me. I sent an email to TSA and this was their response:
These weren't factory sealed, so I wasn't sure if it was an oversight by the person I purchased them from, or if as you said they didn't need foams.
