What are your guys setups for snow running your nitro Revo's? I have paddles on the back with stock tires up front. I also wrap the engine with a rag and monitor the temps. Runs real good 90% of...
So I bought a Revo a couple weeks ago and have been running both my Slayer and Revo in the snow. Both are showing symptoms of slipping OWB's again. I pulled the ez start off the Revo, cleaned it all...
Any videos of it in action?
Problem came back after a few starts. Ended up replacing the one way bearing and so far it seems better.
Cleaned the bearing. Problem fixed.
I was doing some reading and was starting to come to that conclusion too. Is it a big job to replace?
Looks like I can clean it. I'll try that first.
The starter motor on my slayer turns just fine, but it only turns the engine over for a couple revolutions before the engine stops turning yet you can still hear the starter spinning. Any ideas?
Already did! :) I got a second one that I swap out once that one gets soaked.
No problems yet. I watched engine temps. They were right at 200 after a few dozen donuts lol. I had half wrapped the motor and the outside temp was about -10c.
A pic of my chassis after a tank of fuel playing in the snow. This thing is so much fun!!! I need more clearance though. Gets high centered real easy.
Heres a link to a vid of my truck. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9ZsuDjDXkZI
I built a 94 dodge dakota and swapped in a 4cyl cummins diesel. Its got twin turbos, makes 75psi boost dynod 420hp/770ft lbs to the rear wheels. Its fun to drive lol
That tdi should get 45-50mpg. Nice cars, but id stay away from it cause of the high miles. Repairs on them are costly.
Yes. Starter motor was not turning. I took it apart, cleaned it and all is good now.
Anybody ever had a problem with the starter not working? I have power and ground at it, but nothing happens. I drove through a couple little puddles with it, maybe water spray got into it? Any...
