I have a few spare parts around. currently selling at a good price. Stock esc and 3 motors. everything works. pm me if interested
Currently using to 7cell 4200mah packs with no problems. You can typically buy 2 of them from Amazon at a good price.
I was running a stock 3.3 traxxas motor. Ran a gallon and a half of 20% traxxas fuel before moving up to the 25%. Got about 2 tanks through it and it quit.
Everything i have come across does not...
So I switched from the Traxxas 20% nitro to the Byrons Gen2 25%. My piston rod split down the middle after 2 tanks. Should I have shimmed the head?
try a futaba system. my son uses the traxxas and i use a futaba sport system with 10 model memory and we love them both
buy both and let my son drive them. then he will be able to tell which is better.
1st ditch the stock charger.
2nd buy a better charger and pre charge your packs before you leave
3rd repeak them on you truck\car battery
hope this helps
just a thought, how fast and how good can you drive? a fast emaxx is hard to drive if your not going straight. buy a rustler!!
and unless you go brushless, and make some changes to the gearing a...
Currently my revo runs around 270 plus to 300 and it's only 70* outside right now. It runs great with a nice trail of smoke. I use 20% traxxas fuel. When i try to richen it up some it won't hit...
i charge my receiver pack at 1 amp. it is a 1600 mah pack and i usually get 1hr of run time out of it.
try the revo 3.3. great rig and you can race or bash it with small mods. revo 3.3 on a bmx track kicks major butt.
i would of bought a traxxas 2.4 system except there price a little high. so i went with a futaba 2pl system. has 10 model memory, abs, uses 4 aa batts, no antenna at all and it has a digital screen...
look into a futaba 2pl system. 10 model memory and it works great. this is what i use. good luck :)
plus it is only $99.99 and you get to keep your stock stuff
Here are a few pics of my revo
I stuck with the 17mm hex. Used some loctite and it seems alright for now.
I use wd-40, paint brush and a blower. Nice and shiny plus it helps keep things moving freely. Once in a while I will hit it with denatured alcohol.
Good Luck :)
Nice to hear you made the move to the 3.3, electric is fun, fast and simple, but nothing beats the smell of nitro and sound of nitro.
I own 2 emaxx trucks, revo 3.3, a stampede and unfortunately a...
Look into a futaba 2pl system. I like it, plus it has a anti lock break feature.
hot racing, i will have to look into that. thanks
Check it out. I think it comes down to your power source. Regardless of tires the emaxx can pick it up and put it down on demand with nimh packs.
My opinion is and this is what I run:
did you forget the low voltage cut off, the evx 2 doesn't have one. also the evx2 can't handle more than 16.8 volts.
Why would i want to run lipos at 14.8 volts when i can run 16.8 volts with a...
I run through 2 tanks of fuel a week,maybe 3.
I also buy nitro by the gallon at $20. i use 20%. When i get tired of running my 3.3 i run my emaxx. I am not saying it is cheaper in the long run,...
I own a revo 3.3 and a emaxx. I want to change my revo 3.3 17mm wheel hex to 14mm so i can switch tires between my emaxx and revo 3.3. Do you think this would cause extra stress and strip out the...
what a problem to have, liops and bruhless!!
My current set up gives me about 15 minutes of run time with stock spur and pinion on my 3905. 4600mah 7 cell batts, evx2 esc and dual titans.
Making money is ok. I don't have a problem with that. If someone needed my am system and i wasn't using it, I would most likely just give it to them so they could run their rig. My goal is not to...
