Having the short one, will increase the camber I believe, and will have a different handling
KD700HO's and KD970s theoretically have about the same specs.
The 700HO will produce more RPMs over torque, while the KD970s will produce more torque over RPM.
The difference is very small....
45Amps works, these amps appear to be rated for something else, as my 30 amps don't even get above ambient temperature, or any temperature at all!
It's probably the differential.
But if you're sure it's the center, or rear left+right shafts, you can look into the Traxxas CVD's, or even other brands CVDs.
That sounds pretty good.
What's the rating of it?
I usually like white bodies on the inside, so I do what I need to do, then spray on a few white coats, then a clear coat 5 times, works wonders.
Make sure you let it sit and dry, 100%, or else...
I'm pretty sure the Onyx 230 can measure mAh putting in, and out right?
If so, I usually revive old packs, but discharging, charging, discharging, charging about 5 times, overnight, but make sure...
Could you have dropped a metal.. wrench or anyhting on the heatsink of the EVX while it was still on?
It's likely to do this, I think this is just like the smoke, when you turned it off.
Anything touching the heatsink?
Call Traxxas on Monday...
The Spektrum DX3R can hold up to 30 models...
Take your choice.
I'm sure they won't charge you for it.
If you want to do a quick solution, to see if it'll work or not, take some WD40, Degreaser (from CowRC) or any kind of spray on grease...
A new chassis is in order if you're going to be doing some major bashing.
I wouldn't use aluminum unless you have some major cash for the Flextek's.
I would only use plastic because aluminum is just going to bend, and deform itself, and will be crazily expensive to...
Switch the "racing" truck to regular basher, and pick up an ERevo for racing.
With the extra thousand, you might be able to get another 5 - 10 additional to you 5000.
I don't have the 3905 model, I usually mud with my E-Savage, which isn't waterproof, and other shenanigans.
I wouldn't hose it off anyways.
I like clean trucks, the bling bling just shines to...
Wow.. Wish I had your job.
Very nice, should be something like Popoxx's build!
Not sure if that will fit the 700 series motors.
I don't mind cleaning a dirty truck, I just hate taking everything apart on my short workbench, and losing screws, and having to skip a week just...
Looks like custom made.
Not hard to make some cool straps, easily DIY.
I bought, 12ft of Velcro, hook and loop, so I could peel off the backing tape, and stick em together, industrial strong...
Probably, if not more.
Again, what setup do you have?
I think mudding is all Mailbu69 does...
He always has a dirty, and muddy truck, which I commend him for doing.
Wish I had mud puddles, and deep dirty water around here.
Stop running that...
If you're running a 2300kV, with a MMM on 4s total, it should be about 30 minutes, at least.
Have you run the E-Savage yet? It's a beast.
I personally like it over my EMaxx, because the TVP's are completely metal/steel/strong aluminum, and is MUCH harder to break, or bend.
I'm not sure...
Plasti-dip on LiPos?
NOT a good idea if I'm thinking correctly.
Probably just safe to put it in a balloon, or really dry it off, asap.
That works, or you could just wet em as much as you want, and after the run, you could blowdry it, eh, balloon works as well.
But if you're really in the water, the water should chill the battery.
