Mine wont run under 300 and then it dies and wont start.
I dont like this motor at all unless there are more issues I am not aware of

I have XP car racing fuel (XP is a Canadian brand) made by some company in the USA, just dont know exactly which.
It has 16% oil which is 4% higher than some, 2% lower than others..

I am running 20% nitro, 16% synthetic 2% less than recomended, 4% more than most car fuels.

djbis, If the people at Traxxas say it is capable of handling a .21 then I imagine it will, after all it wouldnt be to their benefit to mislead the public.
I changed the rockers to 120mm.
The truck loves to jump and lands well..
I added 35wt oil to the rear and #3 pistons. Stock shock/piston set up with the blue 120 springs were far too soft.
When I finish a high speed pass the idle stays high until I touch the brake, didnt do a pinch test (Negligent me)
It only does this sometimes however.
I flushed the tank and the needle, the overheating is happening with the body off.
