Make sure your throttle linkage is as tight as possible. By that I mean the stopper that connects to the linkage on the servo. Make sure with the carb closed, its as close to the servo horn as...
Do you have another plug you can try? Or a regular glow plug ignitor? Also does the truck roll freely?
Hello! welcome to the forum. Make sure your glow plug is tight, mine came loose during break in. Also make sure your carburetor and exhaust manifold is tight. As to it being hard to start make sure...
Oh I was wondering If I should. I'll call up my lhs tomorrow and see if they have one. Thanks!
Hey guys and gals! Its been a bit. Recently picked up a Revo 3.3 from a neighbor. He was asking 150$, it had sat for 4 years and he didn't have the controler or starter. When looking at it I noted...
max amps are just overrated and overpriced. I've never read of anyone having issues with them.
Every esc has to be calibrated out of the box. Take a read through the instructions that are included.
You should edit out the starred out words in your post. Those words are not allowed on the forum, you could get penalized for having them in there.
Buying the the esc and the motor from Kersaw is...
If you call traxxas they will send you a fusible link for free. Its not the stock bridge wire that catches fire, its the esc when its overloaded. The fusible link is a safety device designed to fail...
Yea just about every kit is going to have different measurements. Best to measure what you have and buy accordingly.
They look to be on backorder every where. Maybe give traxxas a call.
Lower the ride height and run thicker oil.
Yup motor and esc determine the demand. Batteries can only do their best to supply. Then when people cheap out and buy sub par lipos, they almost always have issues at some point. But yea nimh was...
Post a video or two. I see losi is coming out with a gas 1/5 monster truck. Looks mammoth haha. I prefer electric though.
At some point i will want this truck to do standing backflips like my savage did. Then i will upgrade motor and esc.
I've read the newest iteration runs cooler so we shall see. I don't plan on gearing the truck any higher then 18/54.
I'm going to give the traxxas connectors and the stock esc a chance. I bought the blue tooth module to edit whatever settings i can. If i don't like it the stock electronics will be hitting ebay lol
Hahaha My racing diffs are lucky to see maintenance once a year lol. But yes with unsealed bulkheads all grease is going to do is attract dirt and dust, and cause things to wear faster.
The bearings do require maintenance just like any other bearing.
That difference in length includes huge short course style bumpers. Plus scale is not the same across all manufacturers except where rules are applied from sanctioning bodies like ROAR.
Yea I already put a deposit on mine at a local hobby shop. Just waiting for it to arrive.
Still waiting for the shop to get mine in. Starting to lose interest.
I have the 308 duo, the 406 duo is just as good.
Ichargers are one of if not the best charger on the market. Their dual channel chargers are very good. Well worth the cost for anyone who is experienced in this hobby.
