Thanks for the input, really opens my mind up, I'll get looking!
Looks cool, just how do I know what one I need?
It's for a cabinet I'm building and the motor will use pulleys etc and stuff so I'd prefer not to use Lego
Hey guys this is completely non related to rc but I was hoping if someone could help me out
I need to make a circuit that when you hit a button, runs a motor in one direction for a few seconds...
I know I went to my Best Buy a month or less ago and there was traxxas products on shelves, and that Best Buy was in Hamilton
Looked on eBay and it seems people are getting 200-350 for one which is pretty good I'd say, might hold onto mine a little longer and then sell it in the near future I'm just not too sure yet
Hey guys it's been quite a while, have been out of rc for quite some time now and have been debating over if I should sell some stuff
That being said has the 30th anniversary digger body really...
Vanilla iced coffee from McDonald's is good
It looks awesome buddy can't wait till its done!
You could get a upgrading transmission case too if you want instead of the stock one. You can purchase an aluminum one
I've had troubles with them upon impact of crashes. The gears would strip and such but as long as you stay out of trouble you'll be good ;)
2400 is slower on 3s but can be geared up and if you want you could go 4s
I'd go with a castle mmp and 3800 motor
If you want power the the mmp and 2400 motor
The 2400 can run on 4s and it produces a lot of torque
You'll have to loosen your slipper for sure
Awh that sucks budd
Okay thanks :)
I'll do that for sure!
Some more pictures with parts installed :)
All of these parts were supposed to be used in my rustler build but I decided I would freshen up my slash instead
I know its been a long time but here she is!
STRC Rear Shock tower
Just wondering why you put the traxxas 2075 servo back in?
Just installed my strc front shock tower and I agree the hardware it's the greatest
Wish they wernt philip screw heads
Thank you that helps :)
The pinion gear came off with the help of my dad, LOL it took him like two minutes ;)
He got it off by putting the transmission in the clamp, grabbing two blade screwdrivers and popping it off
Im not really sure where all the screws go
5x the screws that attach it to the transmission and chassis
*one of these are an extra or?*
2x the flathead screws that attach the shock tower...
It was blue locktite luckily LOL if it was red id be in trouble ;)
So trying to change the pinion on the velineon motor and it strips
I think, okay I'll just drill it out.
That didn't work today
Right now as it sits the gear is grinded down, been drilled at...
Sure the proline is better but it costs a lot more like you mentioned ;)
But for his budget it's a good upgrade and goes with his theme
