What is the fuel consumption on the V-spec approx? I think the Revo tank is a 150ml. tank
Buy a small 2nd hand car and fill it with Rc cars!!!!
I like the TRX and has reacently started racing truggy's. The main problem I had with the TRX was that it battles to keep its tune. I think that could be carburator related. I've seen the same on my...
I had similar problem rebuilt it on a different chassis and shelved it. The cost on shock shafts, oils and rod ends here is ridicule.I had to replace those after every track day.
1) The rod could be stuck then when 3. happened it unstuck.
2)Let's call it glow plug consumption (lol) it would be running too lean not rich. I had similar problems with the TRX motor it seems as...
While we are on this motor subject...........what is the difference between a TRX it looks like a two port(Ithink) motor and motors I've seen that brag about 5 ports? Is it beter, faster,Why?
The 2.5r doesn't come with a wheelie bar ,only the 3.3 does.
Over rich for break in I would say........like Pwnz3r says "Beter safe than sorry"
To me it seems if you live in the US or UK go for the Revo as upgrade parts is availble. Here this is not the best choice as spares is very expensive.
Personal opinion on the TRX is that you do...
I'm trying to understand how three diffs work together....I understand that a thick oil will give you more equal distribution of power, and thin will give you power to the least load.
HUH?! Who did what?!
Sounds like one of the gears might be broken.........
Had the problem with one of mine and the opti-drive gear was broken and pieces was stuck in the gear mesh causing similiar symptoms.
Ok that sounds like it.
Hesitation(sp) for short moment then take off.
Could some one please explain to me what the symptoms is if the LSN is too rich and too lean.
:D Thats a great one :D
I would like to find out if the same rules apply to other makes of engines. If it is too lean it will stall and you'll have smoke from the cooling head ect.
Would it be safe to use the TRX methods...
Misbehavin-rc.com.There is some info on antenna.
If I remember it is something like 27MHz = approx.27Inches
First thing I check when my 3.3 gives hassle is plug. Well I replace imediate 99% of the time that is the problem---my experience---I've also noticed that a plug can still glow and not work.I dunno....
Try the old filter and see if that sorts the problem. If yes then retune.
28, 1 sweet little 2yo daughter, married to the best wife.
1 Revo for spares and 1 Revo for racing.
and every 2nd weekend at the track.
50wt oil all round.
Silver rear, No.3 piston. Black front, No.2 piston.
Black springs just did not keep my back up. So went to Silver and it works great.
Oh and if you put the ignitor on it and it glows, shouldn't it still work?
If not how do I know and what should I look for when it still glows but not enough to run the engine?
Outside temps range from 25degC-30degC(77degF-86degF) on a normal day. It was shiney but the end of the coil is dull grey and inside the coils still looks good. It doesn't look like there could be...
Great colours on that Revo!
