if money is no limit, build a custom chassis!
build your own!!
i cut my foams into a gear shape. look at how much foam came out of them lol. and like markman says, make sure you cut out the small lugs.
My backslash did surprisingly well on the track. 1/8 scale motor system on 2s was pretty quick, but couldn't clear the big triple. on 4s it was ridiculous, i had to turn the throttle down to 65% or...
great review, thanks for taking the time to put all that information together for us. more bling that nobody will see lol.
was starting to wonder where you've been.
well i meant the tires leave the ground after you flip off the fence, they are then free wheeling very fast and when they hit the ground BAM, stoppo! thus driving a ton of force through the entire...
100% operator error causing that drivetrain carnage. no vehicle can withstand being deliberately driven straight into a tree or a fence hoping the tires will grab and flip the vehicle over. when the...
sounds like the + and - are reversed on the motor and they reversed the channel on the radio. flip them around and un-reverse the throttle channel on the radio. not sure about the drag brake though.
thanks for the info, those look great. i'll be ordering a set for sure.
i've been drooling over the yeti XL, but come on, no locking diffs? and it looks kinda flimsy. summit still owns!
great, more money to spend :p
i don't think it will be all that heavy, their diff cups seemed pretty light to me.
summit dressed up as a super late model dirt oval car for halloween :O.o:
i finally got some bling bling for my summit, only problem is that no one will ever see it :O.o:
LEM aluminum diff cups. Awesome fit and finish on these....
When I log in to my account, it says I've been a member for 44 years. Will this cause a problem with the new "use it or lose it" deal?
if you're using the stock summit long travel rockers, you need to go with the center hole.
i put the truck on a stand and i use a pair of needle nose pliers, put it between about 3 'coils' and squeeze and hold. this takes just enough pressure off of the collars so i can turn them with my...
so true, my friend. i wonder what it would take to mount an old GD-600 gear reduction unit to the summit motor mount. I've used it on an emaxx, a txt-1, and a twin force with very good results.
some nice tube work there. you're off to a good start.
i hope so too. next time i'm over there i'll double check and make sure it's really out of lvd mode.
it is disabled. i plug the battery in and it flashes red/green and has steering but no throttle. i have to get the voltage lower to get it to stop blinking, then it runs like normal until the battery...
a buddy of mine just got a brushed 2wd stampede that has this speed control which i thought was weird because it has no heat sink on it. he had the same problem with voltage being too high with the...
you gotta pay to play. when you stepped up to the summit, you stepped up to the best. and it ain't cheap when you're king of the mountain!
i did this with a slash when they first came out. i posted a link to it here on the forum, but my thread was deleted - something about it containing an unsafe activity.
p.s. could just...
i've torn up a lot of things with the 775, i always wonder when people say "i need more torque" lol :fear:
glad to see you finally broke it in the right way! :p
