I found a few looking on eBay in black, grey, and blue. About $7 and free shipping! http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/22/215506a5981099c94f0cdbc985157e98.jpg
I broke the same thing on my lcg chassis. I've found them on eBay.
I did this little mod to prevent this in the future. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/21/4635bcc55da2649aad0c1a1aa840a663.jpg...
The 3s lipo is definitely fun, I only run mine with a 3s on the street, off-road its just overkill. As far as racing, the tracks around me will only allow 2s batteries.
Close encounter with a stationary object. Approximately 45mph, clipped the tire of a Chevy Malibu, Chevy 1 - Slash 0http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/01/6be061c18cc700834513235b4500cae5.jpg
I haven't been keeping up that much, was the new trans in your 2wd or 4wd?
Yup, you put a whooping on it! Was that the new trans?
Definitely looks nice!
That's exactly what I've started doing! At least for me it looks like a RAM truck...
I have thought about it but having a hard time parting with them. I've already seen them on EBay selling for over $100. Crazy to see them selling for that!
I liked this body so much it was what made me buy a slash. I also liked it so much I bought several when they were fairly inexpensive, now I have them sitting in a box brand new unopened. [emoji3]
If it was me doing it all over again I would get a decent battery charger and lipo batteries right away! I would also switch to the LCG chassis along with upgrading to RPM parts. Definitely upgrade...
Put on some 2.8 pro-line trenches. Just have to raise up the body some. Love the new look!
I should have edited this sooner, I went with the 5565 servo.
All I can say is wow!
Ripped around the backyard.
You do not need to run the springs that come with the LCG kit. Run the big bored with the losi springs you have now, it will handle really well.
Yes, you paint the under side and the stickers go on the outside. One of the most important details is to wash the underside really good before painting. Check YouTube there are some really videos...
Absolutely! I run them on mine.http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15/02/15/7838833c35f50e41654a3b535c5002af.jpg
I followed MrWolfs advice and went with the Hitec HS-5625MG, very happy with it so far. It is noticeably better than the stock servo.
The VXL is a great system for the slash! I put the VXL system in my slash after about a month of ownership and have been running it for almost 2 years now. I run both 2 and 3 cell lipos in it and...
Yes, it is a outerwares 2wd slash cover. It is like a very fine mesh so air moves right through.
I use the Outerware cover as well. It does work on the LCG chassis, has some extra material but it does work. Does a...
I second going with RPM parts when replacing the stock parts! Much more durable.
The LCG chassis is the way to go, don't worry about clearance I've found with the LCG chassis the truck goes over...
I also used the STRC bellcrank in my lcg chassis. In the lcg kit your stock plastic bellcrank just transfers to the new chassis.
