Stock chassis is the way to go. I used two of them to make an extended chassis. 👍🏻. Aluminum is good for some of the parts but a little flex is still a good thing to have.
Love running in the snow. Good advise above!
Looks sweet! Very similar to what I did to my PEDE.
Here's an option. Hold up really well and I think look sweet! About have way down the page.
Even the dog bone MIP shafts will wear out using 3cell. Got two years of bashing out of the first set. Second set hasn't seen much use but it's full throttle bashing when it is being used!
I did it with my Bandit. Got caught up in it. From the bandit, after brushless upgrade and Rustler wheels, made the changes to a Rustler. That lasted a few months and then the Stampede was...
I removed that piece of the chassis in my 2" extended Pede to make room for the ESC to sit low in the chassis. Never have had any issues.
I had two bad opti-drives during break-in. Removed it and never had an issue since.2+ years. I also wanted to keep reverse so I modified a forward gear to be used as the reverse gear and haven't had...
Great idea! You'll have all the light you need with those. I just use the 5mm light kits...just enough light to see where the Revo is...
Not the best pictures but here's my rpm rear bumper set up...and I love it! Worth every cent. I'd get the wheel mounts too!...
ncotham, How are things going with the Revo. Many of us have this issue. Most just remove the opti-drive from the equation and never look back. Just make sure to come to a complete stop before...
Here's one from the other night;
Some fun in the snow!!
Everyone will have theirs set up a bit different. There are so many things that can be factored in....you really have to keep trying different set up's. Sounds like you want it set up for bashing,...
Here's one using SloPro on my I-phone
You can edit your video and change speeds. Slow has 50%, 40%, 25%. Fast 1.3x, 2x, 4x, 500fps and 1000fps.
That's awesome!! He'll always remember that and pass it on to others when he can.
I guess i did a better job of hiding it then I thought. I notice it right away. If you look under the chassis you'll see 2 nuts and just in front of where the front skid is mounted to the middle of...
Thanks! I do. Just under an inch on the wheel spacers, pro trac font arms and front off set wheels on all 4 corners.
I don't get to use mine as much as I'd like but it's low,can be lower without the truck body and different posts, longer, and widener. Handles both on and off road really well. Takes a beating and...
Can anyone confirm that 2 and 3/4 turns out for both high and low needles is the correct "starting point" for the Losi 3.4 carb?
Thank you
Use the KISS method. Keep It Simple Stupid. I agree with what was mentioned above by icepick...start with your tuning, small adjustments , test , repeat. Keep us posted!
I had mentioned that. I like your idea. I tried a servo with 2 rods that pushed up against the front tires but it was too weak. Bleach would be another great addition
Finally had a chance to test the PEDE out today...as well as some slow motion footage. Had the chains on...they need to be rebuilt too. If you look at the left rear tire in the beginning off the...
Thanks Ken! Can't wait to see wait to see what you got!
