Wait, Why cant you just buy the chassis and the radio box and switch all the gear form you slash 4x4 to this chassis and put it back together, it looks all the same
how about ebay?
hard packed, slipper. it wouldn't have anything to do with camber or toe in or any of the others?
nope, its not when turning necessarily, it wonders a lot and on the straights
when running my slash 4x4 on the track its very twitchy and spins out easily compared to my friends with slash 4x4s. I have proline shocks with 60wt oil in the front and 55 in the back and...
When i take the rear end off my truck and roll it on the floor theres a clicking felling.Have any of you had this problem and know what it could be
going to a smaller means more top speed less acceleration (watch temps)
going to a bigger means more acceleration and less top speed (don't think a bigger spur fits)
you probably stripped a spur gear, couple bucks to fix
so why change it if its so good?
rear for me, the grinding noise came form the the big ring gear and the spider gear ( they weren't binding properly ) then they bond properly when i put the metal shim in the diff
the seals broke and the metal shim was missing
Im opening my track in St.Catharines, Ontario
For pics and more info check out my website at www.lakeshoreraceway.com
i has the same thing happen to me, turns out it was the diffs
This is my track, Lakeshore Raceway is St.Catharines Ontario
dont use the the blue or green painters tape, that stuff sucks, i have has a better experience with with regular masking tape but the next time i paint a body im going to use frog tape
I think the drive shaft cover is hitting the black end cap on the motor forcing me not to push it in farther
stripped my 54 so i put on the 52 and i cant set the pinion of the the spur properly. Pinion is a 13 tooth
you still have to buy carbon shock towers for the losi and the tires from what i've heard are not much better
i run with 20c no problem, c rating is almost like torque
If you want to build one, by a roller, slap in a LCG kit, a cc motor and esc and some lipos and your truck will be as good if not better than the competition. These upgrades will probably cost the...
if you wanted to run the xo-1 tires you would need 17mm hex adapters, you can run proline street fighters insted
im guessing the main piece is a LCG chassis
I might be opening it up to the public this summer, the government has a program for teenagers where they'll give you 3 grand to start your own business and im told on monday if i get the grant.
thanks for the positive feed back guys :) i got some more of my buddies into it, there will be 8 slashes on the track at once, my lhs is going to make alot of money this summer
