Magnets are ok... for trails and soft bashing they are ok... I use them 60% of the time... but I put the clips when I go hard.
Lights in action
I've made an Arduino (microcontroler) driven lights kit for my summit. It's connected to the ESC and steering servo (Y wires), so it detects when you brake, go reverse, and turn.
I was inspired by...
Ok, your ploblem is the voltage.... 5 red leds in series needs at least 8,5/9 volts to run.... but you have 7,4 volts. Simple solution, put 4 in series (short circuit one of them to quick test) and...
Great! Can you post pictures about your bild?
Please specify your wiring schema. Stock rear leds are 3 in series plus the other 3 in series in parallel to the firsts ones. Red leds have 1,7 voltage drops aprox.
Yes, and also de glue your tires...
I've just de chromed all the rims. Another tip is that in the rim edge, if there is a bit of tire glue, then it won't dechrome... so if you remove this glue, your rims will be 100% black.
My de-chromed stock tires new look
Acetone + easy off works great. My first de chomed rim:
Doing some test today, I've found that if you first put acetone over the chromed surface and inmmediately spray the oven cleaner, chrome goes in less than 2 minutes!
warm environment should acelerate the process... may be this can help if your oven cleaner is not so efficient. btw, it looks you are close to no chrome at all.
Looks great..... Should it fit better or worst in a Summit LT?
Yes, it matters. You have to share the same ground if you want to use both BECs.
And how many 1/16th turns back from tight is that??
Wow! Looks really pro.
I'm running 18/68 with my 12v dewalt, that is more hot than 14.4v. Under de dusty cover it reachs 200 degrees in a basshing session under the sun with 100 degrees ambiente temp.... it's the limit of...
wow! looks great!
It's your 10 minutes batteries pair new? If there are a few cicles in this lipos, they can go low voltage more easy. Just keep using them to see if they start to last long.
Velcro mounting with zipper.
May be you can try with other oven cleaner. I think that the basic active principle is the sodium hydroxide from this cleaners.
It is an oven cleaner. In Argentina is sold as Zebra oven cleaner.
This is the data of the manufacturer in Autralia:
Reckitt Benckiser (Australia) Pty Limited
It looks really great!
