Then why not go new?
I've got a nitro hawk in near perfect condition with the original .12 in it (just replaced the con rod, runs great) Shoot me a pm if you're interested. BTW, mine's the rarer, earlier type with the...
Most non-nitro engines are for airplanes except the few noted for boats. There are plenty diesel engines (made in Germany) that are in the .40 to .90 range, there's a few gasoline engines that run...
ditto that /\/\/\/\
It's your clutch.
I'll try to rustle some up the next couple days......my camera's not electronic but I might be able to borrow one.
I haven't figured a price yet and it's got about 1/2 gallon through the engine.
How much you lookin' to spend? I have an all titanium (NOT aluminum) Jato. It'd set you back a bunch to buy it before I send the engine to TNT for the full race mod, even more afterwards.
are you sure you just don't have the trim set wrong on your throttle servo? If not, you'll have to replace the throttle body.
Well, new connecting rod, a little tweaking and it's back to screaming! I'm gonna miss this little engine when they finally run out of parts and something breaks. I reckon I'll have to replace it...
"I find that some rims really want to float too so I put a puck on top of each one and it keeps them under."
That's why I went the ziplock method...burp all the air out and zip it!
Ouch! Curbs hurt, huh!
Seriously, if you're only topping out at 56 mph on a Jato 3.3, you've got tuning issues or have it geared way down.
Nope, but at that price, it's worth buying them in bulk...I've got 5 r/c units that needed batteries, so why not buy extra?
the minis are a passing fad. I would look more towards a truggy/buggy.
Since each Radio Shack is independently owned, maybe that particular one has a distributer's agreement w/ Traxxas.
Getcha some of these battery packs while they still have them.....I bought a dozen:
The last time I tried to dye some wheels, I used a quart ziplock almost full and half the bottle of Rit (got the liquid instead of the powder). Zipped the bag up and left them for two days. Turned...
On the first one: Since nicads can have a "memory" as such, I discharge mine completely before I recharge (one of the reasons I have two)
On the second one: In theory, that would work.
Did all that. In fact, I'm running brand new anacondas on the rear and 2.2 low profile Panther slicks on the front. It turns on a dime now, but still won't wheelie. I've tried several different...
Still have the motor?
Shoot, mine won't wheelie either....just starts ripping the tires apart. No traction! I've tried anacondas, panther sticky slicks, all kinds of tires and I just can't get enough traction to pull a...
Over the last 15 years? Probably about $15,000 with all the planes, helicopters, boats and cars.
Ya know something, Plum? I never check the temps on my engines. I'm no expert by any means, but I've been doing this nitro stuff for a little over 25 years and have yet to burn up a motor from being...
Tell them to release their new stuff just before Christmas like the rest of the world. I hate having to wait until spring!
You might ask them to hurry up and release that 1/8th truggy they've...
Well, not literally.....I was running the old Nitro Hawk today with the original TRX .12. Heaven only knows how many tanks of fuel have been through it...it's always run pretty strong for a .12. ...
Try this one....I did it in 6th grade (we were given three to choose from, I was the only one that chose this one)
