I thought the traxxas insert was poorly done, with all the crashes and on the lid landings. Someone with skill should have demonstrated. Reed has become the fizzle from down-under. Now he needs...
Wonder how high in price the ebay chop shop auctions will go for just the body alone. I think there will be high demand for the bodies alone. Personally I've wanted a MaxD body for a long time,...
trolling ? that'll get you points. :p
Couple things to read
Why not spend a little effort in your post to provide some specifics you're after ? I'm sure you've seen how these threads go and have seen the standard answers that come up. You want cheap or...
Did you review the sticky ?
The short answer is no deduction. As cubsfan mentions, it's really associated with trying to gain income from your hobby and then deduct the expenses accompanying that gain. And you're limited on...
My suggestion is to run the pack(s) to about 4.0v/cell, then to 3.8v/cell, each time checking how balanced it is. When you get close to empty, you can get varying voltages. Although, you are...
This is a sticky
Thread from a few weeks ago.
Nice fair and thorough reviews for a non-owner to hear.
I added some more to my post before I saw your reply. The main thing to remember is that when connected in parallel, they always stabilize to the same voltage (again assumes same number of cells).
This might help, remember that 4.2v is full and 3.7v is empty. Since the voltages when paralleled remain the same between packs, the capacities can be different, but will fill and empty at the same...
But it's wrong when you look at how lipo packs act in parallel. The voltages equalize and the packs will empty at the same time, even if the mah's are different (not one before the other). In...
I routinely have electrically taped edges and ends of my individual lipo packs. It provides the protection from wear as well as water splash protection. It doesn't introduce any heat issues either.
Wow, that's not even close to how it electricity works.
I find it strange an owner would have an all or nothing attitude. I mean, does he require other customers to show a total vehicle proof of purchase before they can buy anything else ? ...
Since in parallel the lipo voltages equalize, it should be like a 4s 30C 5300mah pack (acts as the lower of the C rating). I don't see how in parallel, one would drain faster than the other.
I've been running BL for over 3 years (when MM first came out) and I made a metal plate to mate with the plastic tranny (spur side). It helped a little and survived 7-8 cell nimh. 3s (velineon)...
An alum tranny on the stampede works as a good heat sink, esp when running 3s (which I do a lot, including on grass). I see some MMM's going into 4x4's. I'd be concerned about the heat (velineon).
bood = good ? , tare = tear ?
I'm sure there are a few over there that would disagree.
Thanks for your service, SOLDIERS.
Now, go do some SOLDERING. :p
Probably not what they had in mind though.
Way to catch the humor.
Tom's a great guy to talk to on the phone too !
Dude, you should 'a gone with SPC, they're more reliable !
Kiddin' around, Tom.
