That squeak could just be dirt in the ball joints of the turnbuckles or anywhere theres a ball joint.
I just hit them with a spray lube like tri flow or wd-40 to clean them out.

There must be something binding. Check the linkage for the brakes that attach to the throttle servo rod. The brake rod does slip...

Check your carb. I had my high speed needle strip the threads in the carb body. Also check the screw that tightens down the carb body as it might be loose.

Bullet proofing is a great idea for loose screws (which I've done), but it doesn't help with the fact they're just a bit to short.
Look at the link I posted is has the how to and shows the rear shock tower.
This can only be done with an RPM shock tower and IMHO is the only thing strong enough.
You can get RPM spring cups that don't break, I love em.
