Personally, I like the look of this Pro-Line body for the Slash. It looks to me like a Ford F-150. But hey, thats just my opinion.
Let the opinion wars begin!!! :p
You must get one! It is so much fun. The Losi isn't selling well.
I had a Grasshopper, this is the most fun I've had since then.
I've been into RC since the 80s and I don't think I've ever seen a RC product launch with so much demand! The Slash is the coolest RC I've ever had by far, I think I'm going to need to get more!
Those are sweet photos! Thanks for sharing. My stock esc and motor are staying in for that kind of bashing...leave the brushless for the parking lot (SNORE!!)
The Slash is one the biggest things to hit RC in a long time, Proline would be foolish not to offer bodies for it. I'm sure its only a matter of time...
Ditto on the trail braking. The Slash is a much more realistic driving experience, and requires more braking and a softer hand on the turns at high speeds like a real truck. I'm used to bashing...
Did the same thing, and it seems to be keeping the paint from rubbing off
My local Hobbytown staff is very friendly and helpful. They also have had the Slash in stock weeks ago.
Thats funny, the size of the Slash makes it look like the wheels are 1/18 scale...
I am pretty much the same way, however I enjoy seeing the extremes of what you can do with your RC's by watching others destroy their own!
I would agree, just watched the CORR race in Primm Nevada an NBC today. Fun stuff!
I think it jumps pretty sweet, reminds me of my friends 1/8 nitro buggy
Beadlocks are a now a must for my Slash...
Hobbytown USA in Boise has one on the shelf, in Red
The Venom 7 cell 5000 is good too. I've used Vemon battery packs in different R/C bashers for the past two years, and they seem to be good quality.
From the Slash details page:
Adjustable Battery Hold Down
The unique chassis design allows the use of 6-cell stick or side-by-side style battery packs and 7-cell stick, side-by-side, and hump...
That thing jumps pretty sweet, how high can you jump it and still land it on its wheels, like 7 or 8 feet? Still waiting for my Slash, ordered a red one...
I get it...cool idea!
Cool, a 5000 sounds like the way to go
I was actually thinking of buying those 4600 battery packs from tower, does anybody have any idea of the run times you could get running a stock Titan and 7 cell 4600 batts in a Slash?
Number 5 is alive...
The Jeff Kincaid truck looks similiar, it also has a large Potawatomi sticker on the side along with the Traxxas one.
