I would contact Traxxas. It sounds like one of your lasers isn't functioning properly. Please call 1-888-Traxxas.

If the previous update was complete, go to the Support->About screen and see what version of the TX the APP thinks is there. It should be 2.1.77, otherwise the APP would require a software update....
Go to the app store and update to the newest version of the app. There is a fix in the new update to take that bug out.
