i dont know how to post pics, but you cut right under the esc mounting plate. and you cut down until its level with the battery tray and cut the sides off till its level with the sides.
thats what im planning on doing... but, the back of the regular length batterys need something to hold it down. thats what i need to know

i was thinking of extending my rustler battery tray so i can use longger nimh batteries and fit lipos in without having to cut out the front of the battery tray were the balancer and battery cords go...

the shocks bend very easily, if you want the best shocks get big bores. also the driveshafts are weak, get mip

you can make homade dogbones by buying a small metal circuolar piece at lowes or menards then you cut off whats neccacary and weld the metal piec to a universal driveshaft metal round thingy and cut...

go to tower hobies and type in 08106. they should pop up
