I know how steel tranny gears wear on each other, but how about servo gears.
How often do metal servo gears need replaced?
But it is not hard for me to stock spare parts for my truck anyway.
I have a Traxxas 2070 right now and it seems to be wearing out. It doesn't center as percise as it used to and seems to not have the power it did.
How do Hitec's Metal gears compare to Karbonite...
1. Take the foam out of the tire and put the tire on with one bead in the middle of the wheel.
2. Pull the tire a little like you would be taking it off so the bead is folded out.
3. Take a sharp...
The 4600 cells have individual cell shrink wrap. In my VXL Stampede geared 21/84 on and off road combined: I get about 25-30 min out of my 2 year old 4600 matched packs if I drive hard. Hard on gas,...
My brother was blowing his Traxxas wheelie bar wheel bearings out in his aluminum wheels with rubber wheels. I think he went through 16 bearings in just 2 or 2.5 weeks. All were brand new out of the...
Dad cut the beads off the tires. And 3 hands made glueing them, easy!
Last night I helped my dad get his new tire/wheel combo put together. He was tired of not having much control off road with his stock Talons compared to my brother's and my Masher 2000s.
Hey NStampede Freak, did you get a matched or unmatched pack?
If you got a matched pack, just curious, what is the volts for the cells on the sticker?
That is what I do with mine. I just got my third set or rear tires and I'm still using the first and only set front tires.
I have 2 7 cell 4600 Matched packs for my Stampede VXL and I have never raced in a "Race". Mine are 1 year and 7 months old and still going strong. Very happy with the performance.
[QUOTE=TAT2]Here's mine with the body in question. However, this is on a STOCK LENGTH Pede. I have a feeling it may be a bit short for a 1 7/8" extended Pede. At least imo. Fwiw...QUOTE]
I run 21t pinion all the time, 84t spur 95% of the time, and 87t spur 5% of the time with my 7 cell Ener-g 4600's from Pro-Match in my VXL Pede with Masher 2000s.
It looks like it raised the prices on Pede and Rustler VXL's a whole $15. I'd pay $15 more with the 2.4 link in a new truck over the am radio.
On Tower's site, the prices of the Pede and Rustler are $15 higher with the 2.4ghz link system than the trucks without. The XL-5 Pede and Rustler have the am radio to keep the cost down the whole...
Which 8 cell 5000 mah batteries are you talking about?
My brother (Charger Man) has a pede too. He has an 8 cell 5000 Ener-g pack from Pro-match. The race against my pede with my 7 cell 4600s...
What kind of pack is it, Lipo or NiMH?
My dad, my brother, myself, and a friend have the Onyx 230 and they all work great for NiMH's and Lipos (with external balancer). Cost- about $80.
I agree with Mr.Nitro too. That would be cool.
Your charger goes up to 5 amp charge and the battery can handle a 10 amp max. charge.
Max Charge Rate (C) 2 So this means 10...
What battery do you have?
Do you have a website link for it?
What charger do you have also?
But, 5 amps should be fine. But I could give a better answer if I had answers for the 3 questions.
They both should work very well.

2.8 (30 Series) Dirt Hawg's are 4.2" tall (from Tower Hobbies),
Traxxas 2.8 Talons are 4.8" Tall
Pro-line 2.2 Masher 2000's are 4.95-5" tall.
I really like Pro-Line Masher 2000's (compound M2). Excelent grip almost anywhere and good tire life even on road and on sand roads.
It will fit 7 cell flat side by sides no problems. However, 7 cell hump side by side will require a modified/custom battery hold down.
