    +1 for Ray A Racing! He does fantastic work and saved a old 2.5 that I had. Hose clamp method doesn't work worth a darn. It just ends up egging the sleeve and ruining the whole thing.

    You have to realize that the basic tranny design dates back for more than two decades. Reverse was unheard of on nitros then. Its the reason the stampede/rustler/sport are still fairly inexpensive....
