I use 3M double sided tape and it holds great. Never had any electronics fall off yet, in fact it can be a little tough to get them off when needed. Just make sure to clean both surfaces with rubbing...
The Slash is tough!
I run shock covers on every rc I own. Sure helps extend shocks rebuilds and oil changes! Badhorsie highly recommended!
I agree that if you can swing the 3PM Fasst 2.4 thats the way to go. Thats actually what I have and the range is farther then you will ever be able to see your truck.
I haven't has a plastic spur that doesn't wobble some.
I run the Futaba 3PM in my Slash with the stock Traxxas servo and don't have any problems at all.
Will they fit in a Slash?
I use shoe goo and mesh drywall tape. Works awesome and cheap to!
I broke 2 stockers in one day, put the RPMs on and haven't had an issue since. Check out my skate park vid in the video thread above. The RPMs are tough!!!!!!
anyone got a link to buy the fat boy screws?
Short vid of my slash at the local skate park. I've hit that jump probably 100 times and can honestly say nothing has broke besides body cracks.
I would be interested in the esc and motor. PM me price shipped to South Dakota 57039?
Thanks guys. I got the gear chart saved. Any mods needed to put the Jato spur on? Does the stock or RPM gear cover work using 32P?
I read a thread on here but can't seem to find it now on using 32P gears. What model or part number of spur gear fits on the slash. This is on my son's stock slash so I want to keep about the same...
What tires, rims and hubs or adapters did you use to mount the 1/8 tires?
Mesh Drywall Tape and Shoe Goo!
Exactly what I needed. Thanks guys!
I am wanting to change the shock oil in my slash and go to a different weight. What is the proper method to fill and bleed them? Illustrations or video would be nice. Thanks
I've had great luck with Robinson Racing Pinions
Definately sounds like the con rod broke. Just experienced it in my son's Revo3.3 His didnt lose power tho it just went boom.
My son's Revo 3.3 is 3 years old and seen plenty of fuel. Still using the stock EZ Start with absolutely no problems at all. Correct engine tune is the key to any starting system used.
I'm thinking with that big of turbo on your Revo your gonna need a shot of nitrous to overcome to turbo lag! Ha Ha Ha Cool Pic
I agree that the Outlaw pipe isn't the best choice and as far as damaging the motor I don't have any other experience except for my friends Revo2.5R that had one of the outlaw pipes on it since it...
