Like chopstx was saying earlier, you will want similar sized tires to stock, i would suggest a 1/10 touring car tire like the ones listed above with a rally car type tread, practically any 1/10...

I'm in Williamsport pa so the humidity usually isn't to bad, plus as it gets colder the air drys out, as for the tool box, it does have a seal, I have never had anything get wet in it, even when...
The number one thing i found switching to 2s was driveline, i blew one diff with stock nimh batteries in 1.5 years, with the switch i blew about 3 till i finnaly updated to the new style diff case...
Hello everyone, its been a while since ive posted on here, i started college and didnt take my cars with me so not much time to run them, but ive had an idea. Im thinking of taking my Merv back to...
Ive been running the traxxas one in all sorta of conditions and have no complaints about it. It very simple to add and remove for different conditions if you want.
i wanna say one of the screws in your center drive shafts came loose and locked her up.
The traxxas cvds are widely regarded as the best cvds that can be purchased for this vehicle.
i have a 2000 3.0L 5spd 4x4. its been a excellent running truck, The only problem i have with it is power. at 65-70 pulling out to pass someone isnt a quick ordeal without shifting out of overdrive....
I would think this would be on the list of things you need to do.
Along with bearings in the rockers...
My spares for a Merv and a Rally
according to that chart with traxxas parts the smallest you can gear is 11/55. with that, trans flip and then training mode
i would think that has to be within the range he can handle.
i agree. those extra parts are always good to have. i'd bite the bullet and purchase the pack.
i run sky lipo 2200 mah 40c packs. The are a very tight fit but a little dremeling and they fit smooth. give great runtimes and i feel the tight fit keeps them nice and safe inside.
I run my 2.4 with just the metal end exposed in the tube and the rest of the wire tucked inside the radio box. never have range issues.
Rally VXL for me. i love my Merv but it always in need of something. The rally is always good to go and everywhere i go there are paved areas to run.
It deffinanly seems like you have to hold that button for more than 10-12 seconds. I always get a little worries when i'm switching mine.
if possible i would try to find some parking large empty parking lots to run on. at those speed a small rock can upset the car and send it in a direction you really don't want it to go.
i'm with jimbo. My RPM's on the rear ovaled out rear bearing mount. I would say for any of the wide wheelbased mini's to stay away from them. On the other hand my rally has had rpm on the front for a...
Ive been running GH on the front of my MERV for a while and don't have a single problem. they only kinda issue i have with them is the one bearing is a tight fit and can be tricky to get out.
im gonna be honest i like the green on the teeth. makes it scarier looking.
yeh it should of been folded into the rally forum. i would suggest you direct all your questions to the rally forum
Bought mine for the hobby and end up using it all the time. Used to to cut a seized bumper bolt on my ranger off so i could install a hitch. wouldn't of been able to do it without it.
ive never used them. but i can tell you they are a amain hobbies brand like ProTek
these seem a very viable option
