I have Losi T-bones on the back and love them on the track. I also like the Proline snake eyes. When I bash around I run my Geolandars.
I have the Futaba 3pm and the stock traxxas servo is digital so you can run it in PPM. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXVEP2&P=ML
If the servo wasnt digital then you run it in HRS.
I have a Team Orion 3800 30c lipo and an smc 5200 24c lipo and I love the SMC! And it was alot cheaper....
Thats what I did. I drilled the hole bigger and inserted an axle pin. No problem since.
I got these for my sand tires. I like the looks of them but I havent really ran them hard yet.
I have the New Era trans also. Great product, easy to install and keeps the motor cooler.
I tried bowties and snake eyes and really like the snake eyes for my hard pack and dusty track. But they dont last long.
Are you running the stock AM radio? If so thats the problem. Theres alot of interferance with the brushless. Try brading your wires from the motor to the esc. It should help.
Wow those look awsome!! I love to get my body painted by you! Would you?
Is there any reason why Golden Horizon made its aluminium bulkhead a 2 piece?
Your track sounds alot like my local track. So far the best tires I have tried are Proline Snake eyes. They hook up great but aftera total 3 hours of racing they do wear fast but that the trade off....
This is where I got mine....
I bought a set of these wheel nuts and so far I lost 3 on the track! I dont know why cz I ve never lost any of the stock ones so for people who have the blue ones check them after every heat!
My local track is hard packed and very dusty. The geolandar did better than my worn out gladiators but today I tried proline Snake eyes and it was like night and day! They worked awsome!! I still...
I bought the STRC ones and havent had a problem since!
I bought this kit http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXBN25&P=SM And I really like it!!
What I did for mine was use a big sheet of plywood or a thick carpet. You lay it down on the ground and put an weight on it if you have too and leave it there for a few days. Worked for my track.
I did not know that the lipo is closer to 8.2, thats very interresting. I cant keep the front end down with a 2 cell lipo (dead start) so a 3 cell would be overkill. I really cant believe the...
My slash info:
Mamba max 4600
First battery was a 7 cell(8.4v) 5000mah Venom and it clocked at 48km/h or 29.8mph
Second was my 8 cell(9.6v) Ener-G...
Here is a pic of the rear
And adjusted ride height. Sorry if the truck is dirty I went to the local track and ran 4 packs with no...
Slahskiller the shocks fit great! Very easy to install.
tonkajeep34 I used 2 front and 2 rear 8ight shocks but it might be over kill in the back. I had to shorten the travel out back. If I had to...
Thats how they reccomend installing it.
I m not sure what size fuel tubing it is. All I know is that it was a very tight fit on the shock shaft. I removed the preload retainer ring today and it now sits a little lower.
Here are my latest mods: Axial rockster beadlocks rims and this fit no problem on the front end. All I had to do was reverse the upper link bolt that attaches to the caster.
Losi 8ight shocks also...
I recently got a Mamba Max with a 4600kv motor and it all depends on what batteries that you run. On a 2 cell lipo its not that impressive, with a 7 cell is perfect for the track and with an 8 cell I...
