So did this
Yes, this IS a Summit ;)
Looked at getting one but the UK seems to be all out of stock. No rush though.
I'm looking to get the Proline Ford Focus shell and the recommended ' scale' wheel/tyre combo of 2.8 Road Rage on Desperados. Just gonna be plane rather than rally style.
May I ask what shock...
My new Slash 4x4. While I'm waiting for the motor and ESC to come back from warranty (two packs before it crapped out) I had a go at making it look more 'scale'. I'm not into short course racing and...
She's getting tatty and been well used but I got her some new shoes anyway...
good to hear. I do use other suppliers but go to them for the cars themselves as ive herd they are good. Shame they dont have the depth of parts that wheelspin do or id use them exclusively.
i checked the bullets and they SEEMED a good connection, while having a good inspection it looks like the bullets are crimped on (you can see the tooling shape through the heat shrink), this...
Tried three batteries that are all reliable on my summit.
I was on the forum and wanted to update you as to how this conversion has stood the test of time.
Quite well actually, i did end up with white and orange springs and they seem...
In the post.
I lied too, it was modelsprot.co.uk NOT wheelspin. Doh! (and i printed this thread and included it in the return, hope i don't offend them)
It has cooled down after todays run, just plugged in a battery and it still won't run. The drivetrain is free until throttle is applied then it 'locks'. After 20 seconds of being plugged in and...
thanks, even after turning it off and on again (with or without unplugging the battery) it still wont run until it has cooled down.
Arrived yesterday and popped in a known good and charged 2s 7600mAh LiPo, after about five runs up and down a car park it slowed down for a moment then stopped. If i use the throttle the motor just...
nice, im yet to try the fast frame rates on the GP3Black. What did you use to slow the footage? A de-interlacer of some sort?
Stripped it all down the other day and it was a bit mucky in there. I cleaned it out and lubed it with some light grease (some stuff I have for bicycle free hubs that won't stick down the pawls).
Oh and no, it's too stiff to lock by itself even if movement is introduced. It needs pressure and movement.
It's not the rod binding, checked that first. It's not making any unusual noise when runnin ether locked or unlocked.
Before I pull it to bits, what do I need to know?
Basically it won't lock unless I put pressure on the pushrods or locking arm (the one under the body mount) AND also turn the wheels slightly. The...
Nice trailers guys, i'm looking to get a Spartan to tow behind my Summit LT (and run in the many lakes around my way). May i ask how you guys are mounting your wheels/axles? Pics would be great.
As Adam says with smaller wheels and a few other bits. Look for the 'scaled up traxxas summit' thread. ;-)
What like this?
I must say that all of the scaler guy like my summit so far and I'm welcome to 'scale' with them.
Trying to get the best of both scale and summit and a bit of crawling I did the LT conversion.
The summit is too big to run with 1/10 scalers but at a scale meet the other day this rig had A LOT...
Warthox is one of the best line of sight quad pilots i've seen, ive been following him for a while. i even own one of his designed quads but i fly it FPV.
Its worth checking out his channel and...
